Feminism is about equality, not a debate about superiority of either sex. I wish people (especially on this thread) understood it and would stop fueling pointless arguing that makes none feel good nor offers any help.
If feminism is about equality, then explain to me why almost every person I've ever met who called herself a feminist always wants special treatment and holds the two sexes to different standards, please. And don't act like valentinewiggin and try to tell me they don't exist.

If the KKK were represented on this forum, and their mission statement said something about wanting equality between whites and blacks/other minorities, despite what they do all the time, would you call my "war" against THEM disturbing too? I'm confused...
Get your facts sorted out. Feminism means equality by it's definition and there is plenty of people (men and women) who stand by this definition. You have a personal opinion that it doesn't, based on having encountered people you have found unpleasant that have used the word feminist of themselves. That is like saying that all black people must be evil because you have met a few that have treated you badly.
Your opinion doesn't make something "truth". It also doesn't justify you attacking a concept or people here. If you have something against a specific person, please be mature enough to sort it out with them in person rather than shouting out "All black people are evil!", "All women are evil!", "All Jews are evil!" or something of the same level. Yes, I find that very disturbing.
I don't care what feminism "means." The fact remains that most people who call themselves feminists who I've encountered ARE that way, and THOSE are the people I'm against. I'm not against someone for simply being a feminist, but I tend to shy away from people who call themselves feminists. I let their actions and words decide if I should stay way entirely, though. At no point did I ever say I was against all feminists. I never said all women were evil, and I never said all of any group of people were evil either. Stop putting words in my mouth, and don't blame me for the actions of your fellow feminists. Change the name of the group to distance yourself from them, or tell them to knock it off. You're being disturbed by your false observation that I supposedly hate all feminists, which simply is NOT the case. Notice my custom title says 'anti-femiNAZI,' which means I'm against feminazis, which is the term I use to describe annoying, man-hating, militant feminists who are NOT for equality.
Why don't YOU get YOUR facts sorted out, and stop getting pissed at me for having a completely justified reaction to nasty people? And don't start pretending those kinds of people don't exist, either.
In that case you certainly should phrase yourself better. You
clearly made statements that insult all feminists and that doesn't show you in a positive light. Also you might want to read my post again so you understand the point before starting to make accusations. I am proud to be a person that defends equality between the sexes. There is an official name for that and that is a feminist. There are plenty of bad apples everywhere and it's not uncommon that such individual tries to camouflage their behaviour under some fancy sounding ethic. I do not tolerate that. My friends (feminists, men and women) are not that way and if I do communicate with someone who is, I will make my standpoint clear to them.
Your reactions have been anything but justified and insult a vast group of people. If it is "feminazis" that you dislike, leave people that act as they preach and have never been nasty to you alone. It was an unfair and direct attack from you.
We can accept the fact that we seem to have a common "enemy" and try to continue the thread with more fruitful conversation. Nonetheless, I encourage you not to try to defend yourself and claim that you have not showed poor judgement with your wording in this thread. Insulting innocent people is NOT justified.

Okay, so basically what I gather from what you've bolded, as long as the KKK claims they're for equality, we are to believe it's true, regardless of how many KKK members go around screaming "white power!"
