Look out! It's a Nice Guy! DESTROY HIM!!
Maybe if "most" (many ?) guys would choose partners based on a variety of different attractive traits, rather than voting with their cock by wanting somebody who is super-attractive physically (and down-prioritising, or even totally overlooking, other qualities), then less people would consider them to be... well.... cocks.
nice (pron. nīs)
Adjective :
Pleasant; agreeable; satisfactory: "we had a nice time".
(of a person) Pleasant in manner; good-natured; kind: "he's a really nice guy".
Synonyms
fine - pretty - pleasant - good - lovely - kind - dainty
I think that if a seemingly nice person isn't inherently kind etc. (if it's just some kind of act) , then one would say that they seem nice... but that it's just a facade.
That said... "dainty" is synonymous with "nice" ?
Well, I do reckon that's kind of a pishy synonym.

That's BS. There's many reasons for which one person can be nice.
My case, for example: I had a hell of childhood. Instead of becoming a violent a**hole I did the opposite: I promised myself that the day I had a family, I would make them happy. So I'm kind of nice guy. And by the way, I'm bloody proud of it. For me this word is a compliment.
But the funny thing is women think that 'nice' or 'kind' or 'careful' means 'weak'. I have said the opposite more than once. No way. In most of relations I had women thought that, since I was 'nice' (pronounce 'niiiiiice'), I was the weak or submissive part of the relation. However, truth is that I have quite a strong character. So most of times it ended bad with some kind of 'you fooled me, it's a facade'.
No matter how much times I say 'I'm nice because I had Hell enough in my life and I want no more' it always become 'nice means weak'. And later 'you fooled me'. I f*****g gave up.
It's like saying 'hey, I'm arriving 40 minutes late' 'nope, you're kidding me' 'I'm serious, I can't be on time, I'm arriving late' 'naaaa, you're not fooling me' 'damn, listen to me, I'm gonna be 40 minutes late' 'yeap, yeap, of course, if you say so...'. And then, when you arrive 40 minutes late, what you get is 'hey, you're an a**hole!! you're late!! ! I have been waiting here for 40 minutes!! !'. No f*****g way.

Sounds like you just want gender conformist perfection, don't you?
So what do you have to offer?
I don´t necessarily want perfection, I want a nice guy that a find attractive and is confident. Almost every woman does
And almost every guy wants a skinny tall blond model (not me, but most do).
But because of society's gender double standards, everyone feels sorry for the deluded 4/10 single woman but calls the 4/10 guy an entitled prick. In fact, they are both entitled pricks.
Anyone who talks about wanting society's idea of gendered perfection without talking just as much about what they have to offer is an entitled prick. This goes for nice guy (TM) and nice girl (TM).
First of all, it´s a myth that most guys want a skinny tall blonde. Most guys have no preference for hair colour. In fact, a little more than 50 percent actually prefer brunettes. Most men don´t like particularly tall women (5´11) either, but prefer a slightly shorter to medium height woman. And *drumroll* most men don't like skinny, boney women AT ALL.
People all have different ideas about what's attractive.
We've all been victims, we've all been abused, we've all been rejected, and we've all felt bad about it, so can we all PLEASE put an end to this raging pity-party?
This. It seems to happen in so many treads. Really quite pathetic.

I hope you don't say it because my post, isn't it?

Why is it a raging pity party? As far as I can tell for the most part it's just using life experiences as a way to make a valid point.
Well, I guess the fat acceptance activists haven't reminded me enough:
I am aware.
Real women have curves.
No man wants bones.
Only a gay man or desperate straight man could want me.
I am really a boy.
Thanks for putting me in my place about being 5 foot 3, 100 lbs. and unable to gain weight even if I sit still and eat nothing but fatty foods - which I've tried so many times. It's great to be reminded repeatedly that a man could only SETTLE for me since my measurements are only 31-23-35 and not 36-24-36. I guess I don't realize and remember this often enough.

dang, ugly and geeky guys just can't win. if a guy was attractive or had good social skills and was nice, the same way the
so-called nice guy was,he get laid.
No, they can win, just look at my boyfriend, he is ugly by a lot of people's standards and is very geeky.
The thing is, you should be nice because that's who you are and its the right thing to do, NOT solely because you want to get a girl. I mean, niceness is an expectation and a common courtesy, people that expect an award for something that should be expected of everyone is fooling themselves and leading to disappointment.
Bottom line is that, when you go above and beyond what is expected of you, you should do that not in hopes of getting an award, you should pretend you aren't even gonna get an award, but rather, because its the right thing. You got to check your motives when it comes to your niceness. Another mistake guys make is being a little too "chivalrous" I will just say that chivalry is not dead, rather, it has evolved. You should be there for the women when she needs you, but at the same time acknowledge her strengths and give her the chance to solve her own problems and intervening when she wants you to help her.

I'm sure a lot of men do like you though. I bet you just live in America, which is full of fatties who are insecure about themselves and want to take it out on women who have bodies they wish they could have. If you lived in many other countries (such as France or East Asia), you'd be the norm.

Now, where in that description does it say anything about nice guys being weak ?
Nowhere, yes ?
If the women you have met are kind of douchey then so be it, but that's no reason to rage against women in general, or the concept of niceness.
