You have made a claim, but have failed to present evidence in support of your claim. "Most" requires that you demonstrate a divorce rate greater than 50%. I would be interested in reviewing any reliable statistical studies that support this statement. With regard to your claim that undivorced couples have no sex and don't even meet, again, what's your evidence?

This is purely anecdotal, but at least you've indicated it as such rather than presenting it as some sort of larger, demonstrable fact. Well done.

There's many reasons for that, you cannot reasonably compare the two, it's not the same thing at all.

Many reasons for...what? Reasons that guys have sex with as many women as possible? Reasons why women have sex with as many guys as possible? Reasons why women and men are judged according to different scales?

If you want to tell me I'm wrong, please do and I'll happily discuss it with you. I'm just not able to determine, from what you've written, exactly which statements you're disputing.

I do wonder, sometimes, what else I could have accomplished in my life if I hadn't found men so delightfully distracting. :)

Who in the "ef" is in the "top 20%," anyway? How can you determine that?

Just because a guy looks like a model doesn't mean he smells like one. Or he can have bad breath. Or he can just be a total as*hole.

Pretty much.

I work at Chili's and most of my male co-workers have wives/girlfriends. Ditto when I worked at Wal-Mart.

I have yet to see any evidence that women only date super rich, super attractive men. Amusingly enough, on my military forums, the men bemoan the fact that women these days only date "jobless losers." It seems modern men in general will never be satisfied with the amount of female attention they receive.

What’s their background?

Most my coworkers have gf and wife’s. Half are young people going to college(jobs just extra income to put them through college, college = well paid future job, often women say eithe rhave wellmpaid job or be in college meaning college is just as good as well paid job because society says that’s what college leads to)
The other half are older people who have other full time jobs or are retired working this job for the extra money and discounts.

How many people, working low paid jobs are in college? It’s quite common. It’s why low paid jobs have high turn over. Most will graduate college and find better jobs then the next wave of college students will be hired. The few who don’t are people like me. And they single like me. Unless their women, there’s a few women who have well off bfs who pick them up or bought them a nice new car. They work to get discounts for their husband and extra income. There’s really not a lot of permanent low paid employees who’ve been in the same low paid job for 5-10 years who have relationships or are married. Unless they have other jobs or are just earning extra income in women’s case.
Litterally all the guys at my work are either college students or men in their 60+ besides the managers in their 40/50 but they get paid a lot more. They have degrees and experience this is their well paid job.

So how many of your fell employees are 27-40 old college failures who’ve been working min wage for 5-20 years and have gf and wives? Or how many are young college students with a future? Cause it amazes a huge difference to women finding them dateable vs seeing them as a loser.

Female coworkers rejected me but then partnered up with he college students. And they all leave eventually to better jobs.

Yeah it sucks. I wish I wasn’t a social person I wish I didn’t like women or have emotions or sex drive, I’d rather be like data from Star Trek.

Could it be that women find you too confusing? I certainly do, though that also makes you interesting in a way. Can't imagine what kind of person you'd be to know face to face.

Reasons why women and men are judged according to different scales.

Very many women can get sex very very easily, while only few guys can actually get sex easily. For guys, being very succesful is a requirement, or the small handful of guys who are just born incredibly handsome, but this percentage is very low: So in summary, for most guys it requires an incredible amount of work, or winning the genetic lottery to reach a place of easy access to sex. This is not the case for women. I would say probably 80-90 % of women could get sex easily, even if they were unemployed and broke.

Add to that, that even when the guy has the right foundation, it is still him who in 90% of cases has to initiate the conversation, be creative and charismatic to win over the woman. It is also still expected that the guy pays for eventual dates. There's a dissproportionate amount of effort and sacrifice, on every step of the way to the bedroom. It might be different for male moviestars and rockstars, but they are outliers to say the least, and it's not very useful to focus on something that only applies to 0.001% of all men.

So it is not so much having sex with the woman that is the achievement, it is all the hard work and achievements made to reach the point where the sex was even possible.
I know alot of you women will try to argue against what I'm saying here, but I think if you're completely honest with yourselves, you will agree that it is not the same, hence men get called studs, and women sluts. Not saying it's right or wrong, just exlaining why this is the case.

I'm not sure whether I should feel amusement or envy. I'll admit sex is pretty fun but the baggage that goes along with it is distracting. Then again, I'm highly distractible :)

Maybe, I'm probably not the easiest guy to figure out...but thank you anyways.

I think for most women here on WP, they would have a much easier time talking to me face to face, text based communication has a way of making things appear more cynical than they're ment to be.

Also to be frank, I do have less restraint posting on the internet, I think for alot of us guys, it's a way off venting or letting of steam, because doing it in real life can have really bad consequences, and impact the way others view us negatively. So sometimes I definitely take things farther, or make them harsher than what I think and feel deep down.

There's a downside to it though too, a lot social interaction is based on sex drive, so sometimes 'motives' are hard for us to understand and a lot of 'normal' behavior seems really weird-- it can compound autistic problems. I always question sexual intent when there's a social behavior I don't understand, that's not always the case, but it's the best solution I've found.

I'm telling you, I read some of these threads just for pure entertainment. I am truly abnormal. What I've noticed though, is that a lot of people tend to get over their sexual issues in time and find satisfaction, so for those that are having issues, there's hope in that. But it is a bit humorous watching them get to that point. And you know how I know they've gotten to that point of satisfaction? They come here and observe the entertainment just like I do...yes, finding a happy place for your sexuality makes you behave like an asexual, lol. Why do you think there are so many happy married couples not having sex? :D

You're obsessed with smell kraftie... Anyone who looks fit and healthy, will usually smell that way too, unless they haven't showered in weeks.

Because scent, even imperceptible scent such as pheromones, is important to women in mate selection. There have been various studies on this.

Somewhat off topic but I used to have a lab partner who looked like Mario Lopez and was probably the first 10 to ever talk to me, but his breath was so horrible I didn’t want to be near him.

Interesting. I appreciate the clarification.

Yes, there's definitely a disconnect between the level of effort required for men vs. women to accumulate a large number of sexual partners. I have noted that many people put extra effort and attention into getting things that are more difficult for them to acquire, and sometimes wonder if the general perception that men want more sex/have a greater libido than women is due at least in part to that disparity. (If other words, in a society where men and women experienced sexual equality with regard to available partners and initiation of encounters, would men still want more sex than women?) I digress.

So if I understand you correctly, you're saying the reason men admire and envy other men who are more successful sexually is because of the awareness that they've had to work harder for it, while the same number of encounters is relatively easy for women to achieve and therefore not deserving of the same admiration. Yes?
