Changed my profile infor and lied and results are as expecte
Makes you wonder why they would do that though. Do they think it makes them more attractive? It doesn't to most men as I would hear the same frustration from other guys when I was dating.
When I did online dating it was almost a cliché that the woman (usually around 24-28) would brag about how they have been to 40+ countries as if that was something that made them irresistible. These same women would brag about how they loved their career and worked long hours (almost all were nurses or teachers), how they wanted children and a family yet their entire profile usually had some variant of "I can't wait for my next travel adventure!" or "My favorite possession is my passport!" Literally half the eHarmony profiles I matched up with were like this.
The more women I dated the more I realized that the majority of them online of them are full of BS. I would imagine the men are the same but I can't comment as I have no experience.
I don’t think they’re lying, unless they photo shopping pictures, it’s more likely they either going into debt to do it, or their parents are paying. My sisters friend and her mom are going to Paris for 2 weeks soon, this isn’t her first European trip. Once in Europe you can pretty much travel all over, so seeing ten or more nations doesn’t seem that hard.
Many seem to backpack.
Yeah it’s a swipe reject for me. I can’t afford to travel nor do I desire to. Mean I could spend my savings and go but what a waste of money. Rich people do it cause it’s pocket change for them. If traveling cost them billion dollars they wouldn’t do it either. 3,000 is a lot I feel for most average people. And that’s not even the whole cost. $5,000-10,000 I’d guess. They could buy a car for that. But then I see a lot of them with new cars their parents bought them. Wish I had parents who could buy me a $50,000 truck.
Is eharmony just all bots and fake accounts? That’s what people say
I don’t want to spend $300 on it to be same as other sites.
They also say march bought all the other dating sites and flooded them with bits to drive people to match, and now I see match is partnered with eharmony.
So it would seem the all dating site market is now owned by one partnership.

In my experience, no. Not only did I date about 10% of my "active" matches but I knew about 10-15% more from work, school, retail shops, etc. Having said that, while I know eHarmony was very good at removing fake profiles, the fact remains:
1) The quality of the site got progressively worse as the years went on. At one point it was an OKcupid clone.
2) I'm not kidding when I said about 50% of the profiles were almost word for word identical, using generic clichés like the aforementioned travel ones and having nothing but pictures of landmarks like Macchu Picchu (apparently it's the young Canadian women's version of Mecca?). Now that I think about it, a lot of profiles featured US cities like New York, LA and especially Chicago and no local landmarks.
3) The one who I know was a fake profile was so good it took me years to finally convince myself it was a scam account. You are always on guard for the "I have 5.7 million dollars and need money to pay the customs fees." crap but the fake account was VERY well written and if it wasn't for a small slipup I would have never suspected a thing until the inevitable request for $$ weeks down the line. "She" was decent looking but like almost all eHarmony profiles wasn't going to win any modelling contests and would blend into any crowd.
Getting back to the travel thing, not only is it obvious they could barely afford those trips on their nurse/teacher salaries, but where the $@##@ do they get the TIME to go on 3-4 international trips a year? I get a ridiculous amount of vacation time and even I wouldn't be able to find the time to jet set around the worldwithout going crazy from the lack of downtime.

Convert to Islam, you would be able to f**k anything that crawls in the heaven.

Is that in the Quran?
Anyway I also shied away from paid sites, since the pickings were so slim, it seemed like a big gamble....

It's very unlikely that an American has been to ten countries by the age of 18----unless their family is super wealthy. Or their parents are in the Armed Forces.
By the time I was 18, I had been to exactly two countries. And I only went to Canada once----when I was 6 years old. And I had been only to the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Most the women on dating sites in my area are model looks. But most the women I see in public are too. Very rarely do I see average or ugly women or fat women.
Is it worth the $300 for me a poor man to use eharmony?
I’m thinking it’s my last attempt before I kill myself in February

18-20 ( older ones too) most profiles have pictures of them in different nations.
My high school took kids to Europe every year coat $1500
I’ve never left my state. Barely left my city.
Women who travel or plan to travel won’t date me.

Otherwise, you would have millions of women working as models.
Most people are of average looks.
I could send you their pictures
Your just trying to be nice but that’s not the reality.
Most women here are super gorgeous and thin. We get attractive women from all over the world that come here for college too.
No you wouldn’t as there’s only so many model and acting jobs.
She’s not average looking and she’s what 90% of the women here look like

It probably just seems that way.
How many gorgeous women do you see when you take the bus?
It's quite possible that some of these pictures are fake.
I travel the New York subways every day. You have gorgeous women, you have average women, you have ugly women. The same with men. Mostly average. Many fairly chubby. Not really all that many obese people (over about 250 lbs for a woman, 300 lbs for a man). But lots of somewhat overweight people. Like me, who weighs 180 at 5 foot 5.

Slot but they’re all high schoolers as only loser adults(like me) take bus
Most the women at work and who shop at my work look similar in attractive as the pic.
Most places aren’t like nyc public transport is norm there it’s not here. Most everyone drives a car here. So it’s mostly older ugly men and young high school kids, who make up most of the women. I don’t hardly see any women on bus when schools in session unless I’m on bus near the university the. There’s bunch of attractive college women.
Also your term for obese isn’t the medical one at 230 pounds I’d be obese for man of 6,2

According to some, a Body Mass Index of 30 or above makes you obese.
My Body Mass Index is right at 30.

The medical is the only definition
Unless you’re thin then yess you look obese

What's the medical definition of obesity?
Depends on gender and height
For a 6,3 man 199pounds is top of normal
240+ is obese
I’m close to 290 now from over eating a lot past few months.
