Later I had another girlfriend who is more likely to have cheated on me, but I basically chose to ignore it. Not by picking guys up in bars though. :
I don't know what goes through these girl's heads?
The first night I spent with her, she told me she had a FWB. Sometime later, I saw her walking around holding hands with a guy, when she wasn't expecting me (not the FWB). I basically forgave her for that. In this case, I think it was a matter of "old friends". She wasn't out looking for hookups but took pride in the idea that guys had sexual thoughts about her and that she knew how to make a guy happy (she wasn't actually a great sex partner but was charmingly enthusiastic and eager to please). BTW this is somebody who dearly wanted to marry me, she even published a wedding announcement in the paper. We were officially a couple for over 2 years. BTW as I see it, she was probably autistic. A major reason I didn't marry her was because my parents thought there was something wrong with her and were horrified by the thought of having her as a daughter in law, and I wasn't independent enough to defy them.
I hope I didn't offend anyone by saying she was autistic. Women on the Spectrum have a wide variety of ways to deal with their sexuality. She was by no means a bad person nor did she have any desire to hurt me, she just did her own thing.
