I like the term old soul. There are definitely some people in the world who have an air about them of having been here before. Surely you've met people like that? Particularly wise, or caring, or empathetic for example?

I understand what is meant by the term 'old soul' but I'd probably been less inclined to 'lol' at her choice if she stated it in a way that acknowledges that the concept is a belief rather than a fact. If another person made the same comment I probably wouldn't have even said anything but Hale_Bopp has some 'far out' ideas which she seems confident about and I wanted her to know that she is amusing to me (in a good way).

My ideal man/woman would also have an old soul.

But a middle aged soul is fine too.

In fact youthful souls have their appeal also.

Just as long as they don't mind me watching Buffy/Star Trek/zombie flicks, and they like cats. Too much to ask?

Sounds reasonable. I'm sure there are a lot of men out there who would approve of a partner who likes shows like that that are more often than not watched by males.

why must you hurt me this way

For you, I'd consider keeping them in a cage. I wouldn't do that for anyone else you understand.

Substitute Swiss television for zombie flicks and you've got my criteria to a T.

I am in a major quandary with this. If I have a set of criteria, nobody meets it and I don't meet anybody. If I let things happen naturally, I end up with someone who can't hold down a decent job, and who is a cross between Andrea Dworkin and Shirley Phelps-Roper (basically, someone who thinks that God not only hates gays, but that He also thinks all sex is rape).

Sounds like you live in the wrong state. :P

He's right, hon. I have a bunch of feminine fat myself, so I know how you feel, but if someone really loved you, they wouldn't care about how your looks. Just your personality.

My ideal girlfriend would be two girlfriends, each between the ages of 20 and 25 and in a hard science. They would both be fit and pretty, and kind, and patient. Being autistic would be cool, but not necessary. We would talk about cool stuff while snuggling every time we saw each other, and we would help each other with math, and we would have sex frequently, and I would go to sleep with one girlfriend on my left side, and the other on my right. That's why 3 girlfriends would be too many, because there would be no room to snuggle with the 3rd girlfriend in bed (unless she were a m***et and could lay on top). And the girlfriends have to be straightforward so that I can adjust my behavior when I do something wrong!

If you meet these qualifications, then please tell me!

Wow, I read through my old responses in this thread and I barely recognized myself. I had lost 47 pounds since then and have been dating a really nice fella for over a year and a half now and I am so happy. Oh how things can change...

Myself, with female genitalia.

Since that seems to describe the only woman who would actually be interested in me.

my ideal woman is a woman who is very nice, and tell me all her adventures, and wants to stay with me.
She would be like my ex gf who was the perfect woman for me.

It would be woman who will say 'I love you for being you" and I can say the same to her. Basically someone who I can look at each day and see life, and love in her eyes. Kinda lame but I enjoy the simple things in life

Somebody that says I'm not too invasive by writing once a day. Or tell me I should overcome my separation and not to attach to someone without leaving grace period.
