You want some anger SadAspy?

Here we go.

I'm SICK of men like you putting all the responsibility for YOUR feelings and YOUR problems on women.

It's not women's job to fall in love with you, have sex with you, spend time with you. It's your job to do what you can to make yourself attractive and if a woman still doesn't want you then accept that and find a way to be ok with it.

But no. Women owe you sex, women owe you a relationship, women owe you this, women owe you that.

I'm SICK of men who think women owe them something just because. GROW the hell up and SHUT the hell up.

How many times I do have to say this?

I accept that I'm unattractive and women don't want me and will never want me. I keep posting because the female posters (and the white knights) keep saying sh** that's blatantly false, and it pisses me off.

Don't put words in my mouth. I don't expect women to like me....I'm a pathetic loser who doesn't deserve anyone.

So don't call all women heartless b*****s then.

Newsflash: we're all pathetic losers who don't deserve anyone around here, or at least that's how everyone feels most of the time. I gather that you're looking for sympathy (I know I've fished for it a couple of times) but that aside, why exactly are you posting here? You don't seem to believe anyone's advice or kind words, so there's nothing anyone can do to help you.

Don't mean to be harsh, but you're the only one who can help yourself. The problem isn't with women, it's with your attitude. Perhaps some women are as bad as you claim; in that case, find better women to be with who will appreciate you. There's plenty of women out there looking for a good man to be their partner, it's up to us to rise to the challenge of meeting that standard and putting our best foot forwards.

Either way, if you're determined to be unhappy, I hope you at least end up content with your place in the world. Misery can be rather satisfying to indulge in, so long as you don't drown others in your unhappiness too.

Nothin' quite like seeing someone with exactly the same problem as you to put things in perspective, eh? :P

I said that because there are some who have led me on. And no don't go talking about "her" on WP...I'm referring to other incidents...real-life incidents in particular.

Why are you so sure you know more than me? You're seven years younger...now I'm not claiming age is the sole determinant of wisdom, but let me ask you this: how do you think you would feel if you were seven years older and had never been in a relationship? Do you really think you would be calmer than me?

It depends on what counts as rejection, I guess. Maybe 50 real-life and 100 on-line ones? How many approaches should a guy have to make?

Maybe I'd be receptive if I received advice other than have a positive attitude.

Yes. In fact, I'm likely a few years older than you. And I'm far more calmer, far less bitter and angry. It's because I made a decision NOT to be that person, and took steps to change.

I've given you advice before. I'll reiterate the most important bit for you...you need to see a therapist. I'm serious. I know you said you tried...but I suspect you hit resistance and sabotaged the help by convincing yourself it wasn't working. That is the trick our mind plays. You need to COMMIT yourself, no matter how difficult it gets, to this help. Your anger issues are deep-seeded, and simple advice from anyone in this forum isn't going to help, I'm afraid.

If you keep going after the same kind of women or keep trying an approach that isn't working or continue to ignore signs that she isn't interested then the number of approaches will be endless. You should be able to make better ,more intelligent choices with every approach that doesn't work if you look at the situation objectively.

I'm going to revise my advice a bit from immediate therapy to this: Travel abroad. SadAspy, you said that you might be interested in meeting women from other countries. While I think therapy will be helpful in the long run, what you might try right now is taking some time abroad.

But you'll want to be able to do this for an extended period...several months. To do this, you should look into any number of volunteer organizations like the Peace Corp or some sort of teaching English as a second language program. This will allow you to live in the culture for an extended period of time. These programs exist for many parts of the world.

Or, if you have the skills, you could get a temporary work visa in another country.

Just a thought.

You are not the only one that thinks that way and this has been suggested by a member that interacted with him quite closely for a while and is perhaps the person that knows him best around here.

Hmmmmm......

SadAspy, do you have any form of IM or anything I could reach you at? I'd like to see if maybe we can talk about things and exchange experiences and see if that might help you feel better (believe me, I'm in the same boat as you, almost, so it's not like you'll be talking to someone who doesn't understand).

"I'd be happy to talk to you because you're not a Jew."

"I'd be happy to talk to you because you're not black."

"I'd be happy to talk to you because you're not gay."

I can't imagine that any of those statements would be tolerated.

I just sent you a PM.

Let's just say that I'm not popular with the ladies either. I've learned to accept it for the most part, which is why I'd like to try to help others who are in the same boat. Do I believe that some women can be mean? Yeah, but I also think the same of some men. Face it, certain people are just jerks.

I don't think being unpopular with the opposite sex should be grounds for wanting to kill yourself (then again, it's your life, although I don't like when people die before their time, or at all, really) but I can understand the frustration. I've been down that road, busted a tire, replaced the tire, drove to Dave & Buster's, bought the T-shirt, crashed the car, hitchhiked back.....you get the picture.
