You also mentioned not being in a position to contribute which does look that there are issues, from a certain point of view. Am digging thru old posts and saw your message.
My/our issues are not
solved. After our last blow out he was trying and we had a great couple of months, then i recently got triggered by some behavior and he took us back to square one. Remember i am trying all the time (which is why i'm on this site), but then my NT brain takes over and questions whether I am wasting my time with him or not. I got triggered and overreacted and he responded by telling me we probably should end it, and i went into my own shut down.
We are going to meet up and talk, but that day keeps frustratingly getting moved around too. He wants to end it, but i'm not 100% sure why: to save each other both from further pain is my thought, as we are both obviously really into each other. He seems to think things should just "work" between us and i don't know how he is coming to that conclusion based on his other relationships failing.
I am somewhat comfortable answering just never seem to have enough time, especially at this time of year when i'm spending less time on the computer.
I also don't imagine that he is on this site - if he was he might learn a thing or two LOL - but am somewhat scared to post too much in case he is. Not because it wouldn't help him understand, but because he is a private person and i do my best to respect that.
