I am going to be honest, I didnt read the majority of the comments. I have no attention span. But this is an autism forum, and ppl on the spectrum, especially men, have a really hard time with relationships and are undoubtedly lonely.

I'm female, but I am beyond lonely. I do not judge ppl for trying. When pass a certain age and you're still alone...the world gets a little bit darker. Also, men on the spectrum do communicate in their own way - direct, blunt, and very literal/logical. They are usually not trying to come off as creepsters.

Sorry, my little rant bc I have met genuine ppl who are just lonely AF.

People can be very uncharitable.
Ageism is a major problem with the Millenials, I have heard.
I have no time for that nonsense.
Why be so disrespectful?
Older people are people too.

If one isn't interested, just ignore the person, without putting in the boot.
Not rocket surgery. 8)

I'm not sure if you were saying I am being uncharitable and participating in ageism....

I was actually referring to myself - once I hit my mid 30's life did become darker. I have been single and alone for 7 years now. The days do get darker the longer I am alone.
I think Pepe was takling about lonely people getting unfairly judged. I was single & desperately looking for 8 straight with NO luck.between my 1st girlfriend & 2nd one. I know 1st hand that lonelieness can majorly hurt & contribute to depression & negative attitude.
