They are if they treat you like garbage.My ex fiance was drop dead gorgious but over time she was abusive controlling and manipulative.She would harass me and tell me how worthless pathetic and how much of a pushover I was while I was in shut down mode. She would laugh at me when I self harmed whenever I had meltdowns chase me with a kitchen knife and took advantage of the fact I wouldn't hit her back.When I was really down and was thinking about suicide she laughed and said go ahead as I slit my wrists she found it hilarious as I slit my wrists.

My mother just gave me a talking-to about men staring at boobs. She said "if it's they're they will look" and that "it means nothing to them." I reminded her how she told me how men who leer at my sister's good boobs in Walmart and etc. are doing it to memorize them so they can go home and masturbate to them later. She was offended and said, "How DARE you compare [boyfriend] to those creeps?! How DARE you compare him to gross f***s like [a guy we used to know who is a sex offender]?" I laughed and said, "Because he's a man." She got angry and said "What if you two saw a guy with muscles and he said he thought all women wanted that? You'd be pissed at him for thinking you were shallow" and she pointed out that comparing is something women do. She told me, again, to back off venting to him before he really feels hurt because I told her he got angry at me for "stereotyping" him.

There are heaps of guys who PREFER women with your build.

When I hear of beautiful young women like you with self esteem issues so severe that you are willing to mutilate your bodies, it has to be said that cosmetic surgery will make you less attractive to some men.

She didn't call them good boobs; I do. And actually, we have seen men there and other places leer at my sister and even follow her on many occasions.

Ask the councilor about "cognitive distortions," such a mental filter, maximization, minimization, etc. Also, ask about "automatic thoughts," in relation about your feelings about men. Automatic thoughts can become self-reinforcing, which is a bad thing. Good luck.

I don't have a problem with other guys checking me out as long as they aren't creepy about it (don't follow or say rude things). That doesn't make me feel jealous or inadequate; I take it as a compliment. But if my boyfriend does it I still have this lingering fear even though when I talked to him about it he said "If you saw a naked guy walking by you'd notice. What you do after that is in your control and you can CHOOSE not to stare and drool." I told him I thought that's what all men do and he got angry at me for "stereotyping" so I guess I should take his word for it but it is still at the back of my mind.
