There's a website and a subreddit that teach beta males to emulate alpha male behaviors. It acknowledges that looks are the most important thing. But many men use it and claim to have been helped by it. Perhaps with enough behavioral learning and emulation, an unattractive man like Rodger can at least partially compensate for his bad looks.

It's a controversial source. I've heard of members getting issued warnings for praising it. I got issued a warning for it myself. It was a specific mod that always did it; thankfully, they stepped down since then.

And another thing: Rodger was YOUNG. I looked really ugly while young too. But by 26, I started to look noticeably better. By 28, I actually aged into my looks and could pass for handsome, although still far from a Chad. However... I had escorts to help me get through my ugly years; I see them to this day. Rodger wouldn't even consider that option. Had he done what I did, he'd have taken the edge off and been able to wait until he aged into his looks too.

This is how I use to be, and I was incel earlier on, and I used the term before it got the negative connotation. But I read books on how to get women, and also followed what websites and pick up artists had to say. So I feel it worked for me and thought it could work for others.

Aside from acting alpha male though, one thing I learned that in order to get to a woman's heart, or in her pants, the best way is how your sense of humor is. No one seems to talk about this, but from what I have read, and my experience, it does seem true to be the most important factor.

That's a good point that maybe women cannot handle it. I'm sorry to hear that. Is it because your sense of humor is politically incorrect or something like that?

Well it is much more than humor that makes us women keep a man in our pants...just sayin.

True, but it seems to me that humor is the most important quality, based on my experience.

Humour just breaks the ice. Then the hard work starts.

Often they don't bother. Some of them wouldn't bother if they were in a room filled with other incels who are compatible with their orientation.

Why wouldn't they even bother with that?

in my experience, a lot of activist incels lack the humor genes. they are in a mental state that makes it hard for humor to manifest.

dark humor doesn't translate into what makes for social pleasantries with the opposite sex.

I imagine a girl isn't going to be "turned on" to find a guy hitting on her spends his days on 4chan or 8chan

Well if they do not have the sense of humor that is willing to work or at least not willing to practice it, it sounds like a case of wanting to make an omelette without breaking any eggs.

Yes and no. Humor is necessary but far from sufficient. You will absolutely NOT attract women by just telling jokes and acting like a clown. The only reason standup comedians are attractive to women is because of their looks and charisma, not because of their humor. (And I'm saying this as someone who HATES standup comedy as a concept.)

Back in early 2000's, a PUA publisher used to promote the concept of "cocky and funny", claiming it to be attractive to women. (It has since been superseded by an easier-to-implement concept of "playfully arrogant".) I tried it myself, along with other methods that came later, and found that women respected me for it.

Another thing is knowing your audience. For instance, liberal women and conservative women are excited by very different things. If a man hates CNN, George Soros, masks, and social distancing, liberal women will see him as rotten garbage, while conservative women will see him as a shrewd, critical-thinking rebel. Conversely, if a man plasters his Facebook with "Stay Home, Save Lives" memes, always wears a mask, and never comes within 6 feet of strangers, liberal women will praise him for "following science", while conservative women will seem him as a brainwashed sheep.

Even though women are still attracted to the strongest, most dominant men, politics be damned, tailoring one's approach to the target audience can produce great results.
