So how do I get a boyfriend?
I would love to adopt a child if it wasn't so friggin' expensive. Seriously, I'll be paying for the child all my life so why do I have to be thousands upon thousands just to take it home? That's why most people can't adopt and find it's cheaper to make their own. I've only seen richer families being able to adopt a kid and this is why. Foster care is another option but you don't get to keep them unless they want to stay. I'd have my heart broken every time a child would leave for another home.
I think you'd make a darn better foster parent than some people. Abusive a***holes they are.
Awww, thanks. I think I'd be a good mommy. Not now, just whenever I has my degree and all that jazz. ^_^
I've heard horror stories about some foster parents from some friends of mine who were foster kids. Some parents will do it just to collect money from the state and use it for themselves instead of the child. That's tame compared to some of the other ones but I guess you already know how bad it can be.
agree woth hale bopp.
adoptive parents are awesome

your reply = definite pre-rejection to TOS without any chance of re-consideration.
TOS is not even the kind of guy who's gonna ask you to jump in his pants ( at least , not before knowing you very very very well).
Not very nice from you to state a such pre-rejection , especially after he stated that he might date you if he knew you in life.
But don't worry, no guy here is dying to date you, including TOS.
hey, that last part was mean!
and her reply was mean too , it sounded as if she was saying "me and Toad?! Ewww. How you people even dare to suggest a a guy like him for me??! !"
and I was sincere about the last line.

I am neither married nor having a kid but I still feel that my mid-20s life was already wasted. I have no friends to hang out with nor gf and it's been like this for almost the last decade, clubs are expensive here and free social activities without friends aren't even feasible.

It was just my impression (and impressions can be wrong), don't concern yourself with it.

The thing about Boo I've noticed is that he may say lots of stuff that sounds very offensive, rude, mean, politically incorrect, & just plain wrong but he does tend to have good points even thou they are things people would rather ignore. He says the tings that others do not want to admit to or are afraid to say. My point is I think he's rite about lots of things

i think she was only complaining about those here who are trying to fix her life without asking her opinion about changes before.

Erisad seems to be a very sweet girl so i doubt she had any intention of being mean to toad.

Sorry for quoting the first post of a 16 page topic, but just be yourself I guess. Honestly I've only met 3 girls I've ever been really interested in. They were all quiet, sweet, intelligent, dorky, and shy. I remember in high school there was a girl that liked me and she was fairly pretty but she actually scared me away by being so outgoing. Realistically I found her annoying even though she was nice... I guess what I'm trying to say is... being outgoing and being flirtatious wont catch every guy. In fact it could just be wasted effort towards some men... or even repel them. Honestly on top of that if you aren't very outgoing in the first place it might just make things deceitful. I mean, when you get to know somebody after awhile you get to know the true them anyway... so if the guy is looking for an outgoing girl... don't work so hard to try to be so in the beginning or he may get bored of you later.
Honestly maybe I'm not much of a guy... I'm borderline asexual, but I tend to find beauty in intelligent soft hearted women... not the ones who try to be something they aren't or try to stick out. I'd suggest being yourself to catch the right guy for you... even though that takes time I guess. Honestly the only thing that the three girls I liked intentionally did was basically have conversations with me. I usually enjoyed hearing about their interests or hearing them talk about themselves and have them seem equally interested in hearing about myself (I don't like talking about myself long though so I hate when girls mostly want to hear about me... it feels awkward... almost like a game with rules I don't understand). Flattery also feels... pointless so I don't like getting hordes of complements because then it just seems like she wants me to do something for her like her homework lol. Again I'm not the average guy so I don't know if any of this helps >_<
Now that I think about it all three girls were friends of mine first so maybe try befriending men in general. It'll give you a good idea of who they are before you know if you'd be interested in them. I guess there's always the awkward being friends already, but it gives you a greater understanding of the person and a greater understanding of them toward you.
