Booyakasha, I think that when someone is too needy and desperate it repels most people, because of the fact that most people want to feel special. And it is hard to feel special if you see the guy/girl walking after every girl/guy that he sees, instead of going after someone he really likes. It means that the person is not really interested in you as much as the person is interested in not being alone.

I guess you're right that most people feel like that around them, but I think they just want to give a chance to anyone who'd be even remotely interested in them, since they don't have many opportunities to choose from. Like people who are starving, they don't choose their food, so I don't think it's about making that food special, it's just appreciating any sign of kindness they get.

Since beware, watch out! A nice, needy guy is in town. Wear safety masks, lock your doors, and call 911 if needed. :P

Then why have the hoomans around Chernobyl not become smarter? Currently they are having their little civil war in Ukraine, and Belarus is a Soviet-style dictatorship.
I think mice have become smarter because we killed all the dumb ones with old-fashioned mouse traps.
There is actually a mouse epidemic in the north of the Netherlands, lots of crop damage. Experts say it's because there is no room for natural predators like hunting birds anymore.
