You can't prevent that this is the sort of association people have in their minds when they hear the term "incel", because that's already happened. The van attack and shootings like last Friday have already done that, the association has become negative for most people now because of the violence that guys identifying as incels have committed. If the association bothers you that much--well, maybe you need to rethink how you're identifying yourself, and what you are identifying with.

I do not particularly call myself "incel", but the fact that I cannot get a date/girlfriend/sex due to my Autism is a reality of my existence, not some label I apply to myself. But from my experience, I don't need to call myself anything; society is more than happy to call me all sorts of names. My point is about how people like me are treated, not semantics.

Incels are a minority group and we need to unite and stand together and gain strength from numbers. The number of us incels is on the rise as human females reject us for not being handsome Chads with mega bucks. Identifying as an incel should be like coming out and proudly claiming to be a homosexual. We must have pride to celebrate that we our incels. Incel are human males that have unfortunately been rejected by all females on planet Earth.

You don't actually need to be handsome or have megabucks to have relations. I'm overweight, have an overbite and I'm lower-middle class and I can still get girlfriends. If there's hope for me there's hope for everyone.

Trying to link all incels with incel terrorist attacks is like trying to link all Muslims with Muslim terrorist attacks. The media pushes false claims and lies to demonise minority groups.

That's just what the incel terrorists want. They want people to think they represent all incels. Just like how the Muslim terrorists want people to think they represent all Muslims.

Incels do not have charisma, we are introverted, we are mainly ugly, we spend most of our free times playing video games or on forums chatting to our fellow incel buddies about being incels. Incels do not talk to women in real life, we never ask women out because we would be labelled as a weird creep or beaten up by their male white knight protectors. Incels have been rejected by online dating and given up and accepted all women have rejected them because no dates online is definitive proof.

Only 'cause I faked it 'till I maked it!

I really believe in this principle, that charisma is a fluid quality of the mind, rather than being a rigid think you're born with a set amount of.

At least you won't get beat up on dating apps. Here's a secret. Some of those white knight protectors are probably incels too. They may think they can break their dry spell by saving a damsel in distress.

Many incels believe being a virgin male and over 18 and it is all over for you. Being bullied at school is a sign that you are ugly and rejected by peers. Personality does not matter, it is all about looks whether people accept you or not. Being hated by everyone at school was a living hell and relentless teasing and bullying destroyed my confidence and self esteem. At a young age I accepted I had no hope and no chance of my life turning around it was my ugliness that repelled people away. I was an incel, many years before the term was coined. Social rejection, socially isolated with no friends due to my ugliness.

There is no such thing as involuntary celibate because recent evidence from science shows that we don't actually have free will.

Everything we do in life is determined by the laws of physics and chemistry that actually govern the workings of the universe and of course our biochemistry, our physiology and our biology, therefore deep down nothing we do is really voluntary, at least this is my opinion but I could be wrong.

There is no such thing as free will, at least as far as science can tell us.

So, how the hell are we able to process information & make decisions when multiple options are available? :?

The options we have are actually constrained by physics, chemistry, biology and the laws of society.

Our brain chemistry has a large influence in our behavior too.

The sciences have grown steadily bolder in their claim that all human behavior can be explained through the clockwork laws of cause and effect.

There can't be "laws of society" if free will isn't real. Society comes from people thinking "I want to live this way instead of that way" while other people continue to live that way. The fact that we have so many different cultures and beliefs, all existing together instead of merging into one gigantic superculture based on what's the most efficient for global survival and procreation, disproves the supposed disproval of free will. If we were all meat robots, we would be programmed to all gravitate to the same exact thing, and pleasures like reading books and eating unhealthy food wouldn't exist because they do nothing to further the survival of the human race.

It may or may not be true, but it's not relevant to how people feel about their individual situations. If there's no free will, there's a damn realistic illusion of it.
It does not render psychology any less relevant. People still have self awareness, a consciousness, thoughts, feelings. It's just explaining one phenomenon on different levels.

They may believe that but they're wrong. Plenty of people have lost their virginity after 18, myself included.
