how come more people don't use their own photos for avatars? obviously i understand that many people are concerned about privacy and safety, but i would think there would be more people who would find it more important when communicating with people (even online) to be able to put a face (a real face) to what is being communicated. am i wrong? i just find it hard to find images that i feel symbolically represent my personality or character better than my own face does.
I just figured anyone who wanted to see what I looked like would take the time to read my profile and see the link to myspace and click on that. What I look like does not really matter. imo I know I am "hot" and I do not need a reminder. As for people wanting a more sybolism...personal choice I suppose. I think my avitar represents me well only because it is World Industries and I used to really like that company. I also like playing devils advocate and also am a bit of a devil myself. Then add I live in a state with the nicname of hell and you get your answer...
to each their own. Besides it is just too damn much work for me to edit a picture and crop it down to a size that will fit into the required pixels.
