You're overuse of emoticons prove my point about women being overemotional. My mail order bride will do what needs to be done without letting silly things like emotions get in the way.

Ooook... let's go on safari! Hmm... and let's send Eamonn back to the 1600's... er, 1600 BC that is!

Ohhhh, you name your vehicles too!? Well, my car goes by different names. My friend calls it old swedish, sometimes I call it the swedish coughdrop (its coughdrop red), it also goes by the Scarlet Pimpernell (because its a dark, scarlet red color and its looks belie its performance) and finally, Spongebob mobile because its square and a pair of spongebob plush dolls inhabit the rear window deck. I suggest something that has to do with the meaning of the vehicle, yet it has to be equally random. Out of the current crop now, I like snowflake the best. Maybe buttercup, but that is strictly off a powerpuff girls reference...she was the badass of the show.

Yay for thread hijacking! Over here in Australia there is a bit of a tendancy to nickname things based on their opposites. The most typical example is calling a guy with red hair 'Bluey', hence calling a white car 'Buttercup'! Sounds stupid, but it quacks me up every time! Although I'm thinking of erring on Snowflake... hmm! I dont know! But I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the names your car has acrued! The inference to Scarlet Pimpernell made me giggle! :D

That would be better if everyone on the internet and mobile phones done that and (laughs) etc as i dislike emoticons but i suppose i have to get used to them as im not likely to stop them single-handedly.

That is'nt right PhoenixKitten, we are supposed to be here to support each other, not to find what annoys our peers and take advantage.

I was being silly Eamonn. Besides, it's okay to annoy people a bit. I bet my bottom dollar that there are far more people who will be annoyed by your rather sexist view of women...

Cant you pull faces at the mirror or something, get all the silliness out of you're head. Why is it every time anyone says something that is'nt all positive about a group of people (that arent straight white males) they are an ist, in fact just because i dared to be male AND tell a few home truths about women at the same time you called ME sexist when it is you that is taking into account my sex and labbeling when you dont know me or my experiences, that makes You sexist. Anyway i was complimentary about Asian and eastern European women so dont try to fit me into a neat little box.

Godamn thought police, the way things are going it will become stigmatised to call women, women and fancy them only. We will be required by law to fancy men as well and call males and females androgenous beings or something. Sheesh.

As a western woman with a feminist agenda i can see how you think that being hardworking, quiet, humble and appreaciateve are all insults but believe it or not these are all things that i value so to my mind, i was giving them a compliment.

oh, come off it, eamonn - you know perfectly well that trying to rile me by making it look as though i "have an agenda", and that i believe that those qualities are negative, doesn't work. :)

"sticks and stones..." ? ;)

I admittedly use emoticons and shorthand way too often, and I'm a guy! ! LOL!! :D
