NicoleG, I think this is one of those concepts where people sway one way or the other, and once they've chosen, they have no desire to change their outlook. Both exist in this world to varying degrees. As long as we can both acknowledge that in most situations there needs to be a little bend in all directions, it isn't worth debating; although it is worth noting that two people dating each other will need to share an approach if they are going to work out. Beyond that, I like my approach, I believe in it, and I've done well in life with it.
