Yup. That's why mom would put lots of effort to make sure my hair was just so. Sometimes I'd be late for school because of it but that's okay because I was a cute lil' girl. Everyone could tell when Mom was out of town because Grandma would do my hair differently or I'd pull it up myself all uneven and messy like.
Yeeeah, I don't understand double-standards. There's usually no logical reason for them and they no longer apply to today's society but they're still there now aren't they? :/

They're definitely still there. A woman asks once for her husband to do something, and she's deemed a nag.

seriously that's just part of raising children. Hell I sometimes stand outside the bathroom and talk to my mom while she's peeing.

seriously that's just part of raising children. Hell I sometimes stand outside the bathroom and talk to my mom while she's peeing.Even the family dog follows my mom to the bathroom to yip at her. Maybe it's instinct? XD

I used to piss behind our house in the early morning and late at night when I lived in Polk County. Our cats used to stare at the ground I was pissing on and start walking closer till I'd threaten to spray them
Then ONE time I'm sleep walking according to my ex and I walk out of the house and start pissing on my back tire, this is in the front yard. Cat comes over to investigate and I turn around and piss on him! in the mean time my ex, her mom and my roommate are on the front porch smoking so they saw the whole thing!
