I have decided to post here again because my last post was a while ago and it was a bit vague.
About me
Basically I am a 19 year old female and will be turning 20 in January. I live in New Jersey and am in my second year at Montclair State University. I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher after I graduate. I also live on campus in my own room (due to problems I had with room mates last year).
I am very passionate about music. I have been able to sing on stage despite my AS (which I did not know I had till years later) since I was 12 years old. I was in choir all throughout middle school and took vocal classes all 4 years of high school. I now sing in an a cappella group on campus and plan on occasionally singing karaoke (though I have only worked up the courage to do so once). I mainly like any musicians who can either sing really well (yes, this includes some pop singers) or write really good songs. However, I like a little bit of all types of music.
I also love going to the movies and renting/buying DVD's. I like comedies, romantic comedies, sci-fi, some horror (I prefer psychological horror to the gory stuff they've been making lately), mysteries, and the occasional drama.
I have a lot of interests in the paranormal. I find ghosts, aliens, psychics and astrology very interesting. I definitely believe in that stuff, as I have had some interesting experiences.
Who I'm looking for
The kind of guys who appeal to me are romantic and not just looking to mess around or something. Looks aren't really important to me. I do prefer guys who are clean cut and have good manners. A good sense of humor is also important. Having a lot in common is important too.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in getting to know me please pm me.

Hi All!
I'm GroovyDruid. 24 years old, 6'1, blond hair and green eyes. I enjoy acting, reading, cooking, classical music, cozy movies by the fire, swing dancing, writing articles for my favorite website WP, running and working out.
I'd love to meet any NT or aspie young ladies in my area for a possible long-term relationship or just to meet some more aspies in my community. Drop me a note! I'll see about putting up a picture soon...

Okay then, here goes:
My name is Geoffrey, I'm Male, 35 years of age and I live in Cumbria, England. I am
interested in books, computers, cycling, science and games. I am quite friendly and outgoing. I am 6 foot tall, normal looking, with hazel eyes. I like having conversations when I am in the right mood.
The woman I am looking for must be intelligent, non-smoking and preferably vegetarian. As for age around 20 to 40 years of age would be suitable.
You can find a picture of me here:
www.epwebmaster.freeserve.co.uk/profile.html
Lets hear from you all out there...
I am, ehm, 19 and live in oregon. I am roughly 6 foot even with dark brown/black hair. I do not smoke nor drink but I don't mind when other people do. (The former occuring exclusively outside my room)
I spend all day on a computer generally, there's little else to do around here when it's always raining during the winter. I am terrible at making new friends in real life, in fact the majority of those I have made have been through friends I already had. I can actually trace everyone I talk to on a regular basis with to one guy I met in elementary school. This has affected my ability to date girls in an obvious manner. I have never been on a date, ever. (I was going to have one but got stood up)
I am in college, taking welding and computer classes.
Really I'm looking for any new local friends.. Meeting somebody I can get into a bit more seriously would be awesome too though!

OK...what can I say more about myself now...
My name's Kyle, I'm 18 going on 19, part-Anglo-Celtic (Anglo-Saxon + Irish/Scottish) part-German male, heterosexual, currently unemployed, hoping to study through distance education. In terms of religion, I term myself Spiritualist/Pantheist. I have Asperger's Syndrome and I do suffer from schizophrenia, but that is safely treated via medication. I am an Australian, living in Sale, Victoria.
My likes: Languages, trivia, computer games, miniatures-gaming (though obviously you don't have to be interested in it, it could help), bike riding, walking, music (a wide variety, from Rammstein and Kraftwerk, to Nightwish and Pink Floyd, even to Björk...the list goes on...) I also love conversation, when I am in the mood.
My loathes: Bible-bashers (that means Bible-thumpers, for those of you whom are Americans), white people whom act black, rap music, pop music a la Britney Spears, smoking, Australian Rules Football (sorry fellow Victorians, but I just don't like it), broad Australian accents (ewww...)
My preferred woman is intelligent, non-smoking, able to understand/sympathise with a person in my predicament, and (preferably) non-Australian, though Aussies will do fine if necessary. I would prefer someone with Asperger's Syndrome, but NTs are fine also. Looking for friendship, though if interested I am open to more (ahem) intimate relationships, but ONLY if you are serious about me. PM me if interested.
However, I have changed a bit, I am a little thinner and slightly more mature-looking. In case you're wondering, I am the gentleman with the skulls on his T-shirt.
I figure it's time I throw my hat into the right.
Here are my vitals
Height - 78 inches or 1.95 meters
Hair - Dark brown
Eyes - Brown w/ glasses
Likes: Broadcasting, dark places, cheap comedy (like americas funniest home videos), retro technology
Dislikes: Self-righteous people, back seat drivers, country music, any kind of "metal" music
I'm just looking for someone to accept me for who I am.

They call me Zain. I'm 18, going on 19. I'm a straight, male currently employed as a management consultant, while simultaneously doing a chartered accountancy course. In terms of religion, I've got no qualms admitting I'm a Shi'ite Muslim. I haven't actually been diagnosed with AS but as far as self-diagnosis goes, I'm a member of the club.
Likes: Cars, trivia, languages, music (from Chopin to Chicane, it's all here), basketball, cricket, animals, driving and sport games, good blogs
Dislikes: Hypocrites, patronising pseudo-elitists (dunno where that came from), ignorance, bigotry, expectations of conformity
I would hope to meet a woman who wouldn't be too concerned with the materialistic aspects of life and would possess the ability to think 'beyond the box'. Along with that, respecting, or should I say, tolerating me as an individual would definitely be an attribute I would seek in a woman. Also, it wouldn't hurt if she shared some of my interests, though constructive criticism would be appreciated I believe in function over form, so I would definitely prefer a woman who isn't too keen on detail, nor too demanding.

I suppose it couldn't hurt to post here.
I'm 34, female, hetero, and single/not divorced/no kids. I've very creative, openminded and curious and I like people who are intereted in something and have the desire to do stuff in their lives.
Creativity is central to my life. I'm a musician, writer, painter and teacher (only the last one actually pays). I like reading, the Internet, listening to music, my cats and studying art, philosophy, theology and science.
I'm Catholic (although I'm Jewish by lineage), but have no interest in converting anyone. I'm a very progressive minded Catholic, and a faithful dissenter on certain moral teachings (and yes, you can be a faithful dissenter in the Catholic Church). I strongly dislike people trying to convert me or hassle me about my religion. I has no biased against people having other faiths or beliefs, including atheism, agnostism or scepticism (I'm pretty sceptical myself), as long as they are not fundamentally hostile. I admit, however, I have a very hard time with Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, Christian Fundamentalism/Evangelicalism, and "buffet" style New Age/paganism. I strongly dislike dogmatic-thinking people, browbeaters and people who think they are sceptical when in fact they're just cynical, bitter and cowardly. I also will not tolerate people telling me what I should be as a Catholic.
I have a BA in music (jazz guitar) and did graduate studies in philosophy and theology. Although I am not currently in school I continue to study in various areas. I like people who are have a like intellectual hunger.
Personal tastes: I like a lot of sci fi - movies, TV and literature. Music - I like everything but prog rock, rap/hip-hop, soft jazz, pop and country. Favorites: Bartok, Bach, the French impressionists, Stravinsky, Arvo Part, Ligeti and various other 20th century composers, Coltrane, Monk, Tatum, Bud Powell, Max Roach, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong and rock like the Clash, Flipper, Gang of Four, Wire, New York no wave bands, Mission of Burma, and Fugazi. I also am a huge admirer of Elliott Smith. Sense of humor - wry, smart, dry, flippant, playful, a little sarcastic, but not mean or crude. I like Douglas Adams, Monty Python, Evelyn Waugh, as well as the humor in shows like Monk, Arrested Development and The Daily Show. I like art galleries and museums, and my interest in art runs pretty modern, ala Ernst, Rothko, Klee.
In a guy, I look for intellect, openness and humor first.
Hey there!
I'm a 20 year old college student (a Junior--I'm slated to graduate next year). I'm majoring in Language Arts Education (which certifies me to teach Speech and Debate...it's a different degree than "English").
Physical description: I am 5 ft 10 inches, I have blondish brown hair (I keep it short...I have so many cowlicks I'd be combing for hours if I grew it out). I'm about 165 lbs...and I have blue eyes. I've been told that I'm handsome (I guess). I live in Indiana, USA either at my home in Indianapolis, or at school in a small town called Muncie.
Mental description: I'm very intellectual, and I'm very well read on many subjects. I'm on my University's Debate Team as the team captain...so most of what I know outside of my classes comes from debating about them. I'm doing quite well in school (hence why I'm graduating early). In addition to the studies I need for my degree I also study Latin, Attic Greek, and Japanese. I enjoy the outdoors and exercising...why is this in my mental decription? I dunno...didn't seem to fit anywhere else and it' too important to me to be "frivolous."
I'm also very spiritual and I follow the Christian tradition, though I don't proselytize or "believe" in any specific instituional doctrine or practice. When I was younger I had a twin brother with Downe's Syndrome...and the preacher at our church called him bad things and doesn't treat neuro-non-typicals in general well...and my family has since turned our back on churches and instead taught me from the family bible...kinda like home school for church. With that said, I am very open minded about religions and churches and I make up my mind on an individual basis...however instiutional worship is not something I seek; I feel spiritually fulfilled with reading my own Bible in my own free time and meditating on its contents and my life experiences. I have also read *parts* of the religious texts of other traditions as well like Shintoism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism.
Career goals: Hah! That's a laugh. Ever since I was diagnosed with learning diabilities (which were later recategorized by a better psychologist as AS years later) I have been interested in (American) Education, the philosophy behind it, and its practice...plus both my parents were teachers and I'm following in their footsteps by becoming a teacher myself. I have a lovely memoir of my childhood experiences--mostly revolving around school--if you are so inclined to read it. For those of you unfamiliar with the American education system, the highest rank a teacher can get is "teacher." Okay, maybe "department chair" but that's something you get by seniority and not by education or job performance...so really by the time I graduate and found a job, I will have achieved all my career goals. Thus, it's time for me to start moving on to other areas of my life, like "family" and hence this post.
Frivolous stuff: I like the Simpsons and Lost...outside of that I don't watch TV. I read a lot of novels...historical fiction is my favorite genre, but I enjoy pretty much everything, except those dime romance novels they sell at Wal-Mart, I'm sorry, but those suck and are mostly about sex. I listen to a lot of music, but it's very eclectic and too large to mention...ask me specific questions about music and I can probably answer them, but I can't just rattle off a few artists or songs as I like them all too much for any to stick out in my mind.
My Ideal Mate: My ideal woman would be accepting and honest and interested in starting/raising a family. Yes, that's it. I don't care about looks, money, race, weight, age, "experience" or any of that other stuff. Though, I wouldn't date someone with a sexually transmitted disease. I prefer non-smokers, as I have asthma, but if you smoke away from me or outside I don't have a problem. I prefer lite drinkers or abstainers...I'll accept anyone and as long as they are honest and accept me. Perhaps it sounds like I'm desperate or my standards are too low, but in reality, I genuinely accept all kinds of people with all kinds of pasts...life is too short for arguing about it...besides I've come across enough dishonest conformist type women who want nothing to do with family to know what a rarity and gift the kind of woman I am looking for would be--believe me I would appreciate every day.
Well, if you might be interested send me a PM and I'll get back to you...heck I'd be impressed if you've read this far, lol.
