As I've been away for a long while, better update this:
I'm 31 years old, male, from belgium. I have lived in 6 foreign countries the last 8 years and am now temporarily (at least a few years probably) back in Belgium. In the future I hope to move to Israel, but this may never happen due to not having jewish background. So for now, it's Belgium.
I've had erotophobia and OCD since age 16 but lately have put more and more effords into trying to push it away, as the desire for romance has been always there but was "on hold". So I decided now to not let OCD take away the chance to experience love.
Short description:
- 31 years old
- living in Belgium
- speaking Dutch, French, English, German, tiny bit of Spanish. I can read the Hebrew alphabet too.
- currently on sick leave for severe OCD but working on my recovery and meanwhile trying to get my poetry further towards a larger audience. Previously did customer support jobs mainly.
- relatively long hair ; light brown but usually dyed black. I like to dress eccentrically and am very attached to my eyeliner. I'm not shy to show my feminin side and dislike oldfashioned norms such as dress codes anyway.
- blue eyes
- 1m80 tall
- strictly vegetarian, trying to abstain from cheese and butter too.
- strictly abstaining from alcohol, cigarettes, drugs.
- passions: music and analysing songs, writing poetry on life within the autism spectrum and with OCD, performing my poetry on stage, travelling, watching sports + actively swimming in summer season, educating myself on other cultures and counter filosophies, watching documentaries, writing articles for my blog
- favourite bands: Echo & The Bunnymen, Sophya, The God Machine, The Smiths, Sophia, Orphaned Land, Manic Street Preachers, Rush, Placebo, A Perfect Circle, Patti Smith, Heather Nova, Natacha Atlas, Indochine, KLF, Bauhaus, ... (Sophya and Sophia are NOT the same bands)
- favourite films: Mozart & The Whale, Rosetta, Lola rennt, The Magdalene Sisters, Kissed (Canadian film from nineties), The Exorcist, Noi Albinoi, ...
- favourite literature: travel guides, We (Jevgeni Zamjatin), music biographies and political literature
- favourite places: Istanbul, Barcelona, Belfast, Liverpool, Berlin, brussels, Ghent, Salzburg, Venice, Paris
OK, what am I looking for? A female who is...
- aged 24 to 33
- living at a managable distance from Brussels or wanting to travel to give love a chance
- does not want any children
- passion for arts (mainly poetry and music) and travelling is a huge bonus
- finds loyalty, supporting each other in difficult times, ... very important
- is of the romantic type (likes to cuddle, kiss tenderly, sleep in each others arms, ... Sex is of less importance)
- prefers long chats in cosy places rather than going out into the classic nightlife or organising parties
- is willing to make time available to see each other very often, so that we can get to know each other truly (I believe long gaps between meetings reduce the chances a lot) ; in other words: dedicated to give things a real chance
- is eccentric or doesn't mind that her partner is
I realise a thread of this many pages and with people from all over the world is likely to result in nothing ; but then I'm a hopeful person and trying doesn't do harm.
