I dislike being around attractive people

Naturally attractive people don't bother me. However, people who work hard on thier looks in order to feel superior, I definately feel uncomfortable around. I look decent, but am pretty much a slob, so I always think I don't measure up effort wise.

I walked into a store once where the clerk had enough makeup on to be a kabuki dancer. It made Tammy Faye look subtle. I wanted to pull up a chair and just stare at her like she was a museum piece. Another time when I was younger I walked up to have a better look at this mannequin and then the mannequin turned and looked at me. 8O

I used to be attractive, fat lot of good it did me.

I'm not necessarily unnerved by attractive people, but I have noticed this tendency of some of them to be vain. So I am more suspicious of them.
