Tim it looks as if you need to get out of Texas. It appears that things are one extreme or the other there with nothing in between which is where you appear to be. In a less polarized area with more sensible minded people you would easily find a woman, or six.

Here is why conservatives think I am a loser:

1. I tolerate abortion and same-sex marriage.
2. I feel that it's ok to have sex/live together before getting married.
3. I feel that it's ok to experiment with kink/oral/fetishes--conservatives shun these because to them, anything other than vaginal penetration within marriage is evil.
4. I have interests that range from the Simpsons and South Park, to independent and foreign films. And I will go ahead and admit to having watched porn in the past. Those things would surely get me blackballed from conservative societies.

Join the crowd. Start hopping from church to church until you find someone you can stand. If Texas is anything like Oklahoma, you've got conservative churches on every street corner. It's enough to make a liberal like me sick!

And, if you really want to maximize your chances, drop #2, and minimize #1 by saying you don't care. If you can manage that, after a few dates in you could try and get a picture of how sexually 'open-minded' your date is. As for #4, just don't discuss the porn. If your partner finds out, and has issue with it, be willing to drop the habit.

Everyone makes sacrifices in a relationship, and for god's sakes, you're tapping into one of the biggest communities in Texas AND Oklahoma. As this guy from California said, there's nothing to do but drink beer, have sex, and go to church.

Tim, I thought you liked to travel? I think it would be an excellent time for you to engage in that particular interest of yours.

1. I am a Christian.
2. I am not a left-wing radical.
3. My dream car is an SUV and not a Prius.
4. I don't drink or smoke weed.
5. I am a cartographer and not a freelance artist.
6. I want to start a family (apparently, it's vogue to not want kids).

That sort of defeatist attitude will be the reason you will never find someone. Either that or you don't really want to find someone enough to move. It seems as though you expect people to come to you, you complain that there are no aspie women there (which I refuse to believe also) yet you will refuse to move.

People don't come to you sadly. Unless you're very lucky. I've learned that.

Wait. People IN TEXAS think you're a loser because of this? What the HELL has happened to Texas?

Get out of the big city man. It's full of douche bags.

That was why liberals online think I am a loser.

The list of reasons that conservatives think I am a loser is why I feel I need to leave Texas:

1. I tolerate abortion and same-sex marriage.
2. I feel that it's ok to have sex/live together before getting married.
3. I feel that it's ok to experiment with kink/oral/fetishes--conservatives shun these because to them, anything other than vaginal penetration within marriage is evil.

I really don't see how any of this is a problem unless you go upto people you hardly know on the street and tell them what you're into.

It's not a matter of location so much, it's an issue of whether these people even exist anywhere.

You obviously aren't familiar with conservatives in the way I am. The stuff you listed is one of the big reasons I stopped going to church. At the service they're all about god and being saved, but at home you'd be surprised what conservatives are into.

Some of the most homosexual men alive have gone into top-ranking conservative posts. 'Double life' is a pretty common phenomenon, especially in conservative groups. You obviously never learned what to look for. The main reason a lot of them live this 'double life' is because they fear being ostracized by their peers. That seems to be something you've gone through.

Being an Aspie just means these signs aren't innate. It doesn't mean you can't learn them. I seriously doubt you ever considered the analytical approach. It's about time you pick up some textbooks on sociology, psychology, and anthropology. All three are good fields for teaching Aspies how to act.

The Far Right doesn't accept you.

The Far Left doesn't accept you.

Where does that leave you? Right in the middle with everyone else who is also in the middle. The way you describe yourself you come across as a moderate, somebody who is in the center. This is actually a fairly common place to be, if perhaps not in Texas. So why not go to the middle of the country where so many other moderates also live? Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota.

What about New England? Maine, Oregon, Vermont? They have all the nice countryside without the extreme weather conditions.

I am willing to accept a friend-with-benefits situation as well. However, that will probably be impossible since I also require that somebody be a Christian.

The problem is that all the jobs are in Texas right now.

That is unfortunately true right now.

Yep. That's the big obstacle right now.
