Okay, I'm feeling really insecure after reading all of these. I always thought my AS was the cause of the lack of sex or relationships in my life, but apparently even most aspie guys lose their virginity in their teens. I think there's something wrong with me.
Quite the opposite. If you look at the message boards of any Aspie site/forum you will see huge numbers of men who have never had any form of relationship with a woman. I strongly doubt that many true Aspie males lose their virginity in their teens and therein lies the problem: whilst I am a formally diagnosed Autistic and possibly so are you, most people on these sites are self-diagnosed and probably not truly Aspie/Autistic at all. Not to be taken the wrong way, I am not accusing people of being fakers but not everyone who has a personality disorder is automatically an Aspie/Autistic. I am of the opinion that people should seek formal diagnosis before labelling themselves.
I think if you were to look at studies (if there are any) into sexual experiences of the Autistic, I suspect you would find a very different picture than what is painted here.
