So your saying if a woman says she wants to have sex with a man the man has no say what so ever? Does that mean I have free range to cheat when ever I get asked to have sex and I am free from all responsibility? If so that is awesome and I need to call some people back.

Unfortunately none of that is true. The final say is with who ever says, 'no'. It is not with one party or another.

Back on topic.

I like women who are willing to and can travel around the world and interact with the real people. None of that resort pampering crap resort crap for us. I need someone who is never content with who they are and need to keep growing.

@Tim_Tex - Oh, so you had good reasons to be hateful. Well then, by all means, have at the Aspie women, why don't you?

Really? You're trying to justify that rant? How could any of the behavior you described personally hurt you? How does it affect you if a woman calls a man her bf after knowing him a short time? That has nothing to do with you - you're not in the relationship. Again, why does it make a difference to you what a woman puts on her FB page? If she's not with you, then it's really none of your business. And so what if a woman chooses to return to a bad relationship? It's her funeral, after all - not yours. You don't approve of the choices some Aspie women make? That's fine, because it's not your job to pass judgment on women who don't live up to your standards - it's your job to find a woman who meets your standards.

And finally, it's not your right to "take your anger" out on anyone. If you've got anger to deal with, I suggest you find healthy, appropriate ways to address it. When you solve that problem, you'll probably be amazed at how quickly your dating, relationship, and political problems disappear.

Wow Tim. Just wow. Just when all the furor over The List had died down you have to go and get a rifle with a scope on it just to make sure you don't miss when you shoot yourself in the foot. :shameonyou:

Yeah I'm with you on this one hope... What a woman does with other guys is none of my (or in this case Tim's) business, unless she is in a relationship with me. Even then, it's only my business if she does relationship-type stuff with other guys. Just chilling with other guys is not grounds for being angry at them... at that point, it's just jealousy on my part.

That's why I direct all my anger inwards. Then I'm angry at nobody...

Honestly Tim I thought you were smarter than that.. :?

It's incredible personally to find how much a guy will generalize or paint a brush stroke onto women based on one or few examples. It's as if they're all blood thirsty drones who think and act alike. Makes me cringe everytime I come here to read this kind of crap, literally.

Woman gets the final say...honestly what does that mean? The guy gets the final say, your way or the highway? I don't get it Tim, are you saying the woman should put out or leave b/c it's all about you?

They are desperate enough to go out with anybody. Once one relationship ends, they immediately try to start another one, because they cannot stand being alone.

I really hope you're having a bad day and you actually didn't mean that.

I know where he got that
I said that, not in the context he used it in, but he used it against women, like he does so many things people say

Oh my. The thing is...you aren't nobody. When you direct your anger inwards you are angry at...yourself, not nobody. The key (which therapy will teach you to do) is to release your anger in a safe way and in a safe place where nobody gets hurt, including you. The therapists office is that sort of safe haven and at some point she will probably encourage you to vent while you are in her office if she hasn't already. Venting here- as Tim just did- goes on record. This is a public forum after all and now Tim must either abandon this thread or scroll through a bunch of justifiably angry responses. None of that happens when you vent in a therapist's office. There is just a gentle steering towards a healthier viewpoint after the mental toxic spew has been released. It's like draining pus from an infected wound. Icky but necessary.

I made my remarks because on many AS forums, includng this one, as well as in e-mail/IM correspondences, I have seen the following:

1. Staying with or going back to drug-addicted/abusive partners, knowing that they haven't changed--implying that being abused is better than being alone.

2. Putting "whatever I can get" on their "looking for" section of their Facebook/MySpace pages--implying that anything is better than nothing.

3. After one relationship ends, they immediately start looking for another partner, rather than taking some time off for themselves before venturing out there socially.

4. Saying they have a boyfriend after knowing that person for less than a week.

It really hurts me when people do those things. If I were interested in someone, I would wait however long I had to until conditions allowed me and her to be together. These people, apparently, don't want to wait.

I am also upset because all the female Aspies with the same interests and sex drives as high as mine are now already in relationships, and the asexuals are now the only ones left--and remember, the woman ALWAYS has the final say when it comes to sex.

And threads about the Simpsons and South Park being short-lived, while House and Avatar threads live long, healthy lives.

And it goes far beyond relationships even. I have had friends abandon me for no reason, and one friend committed suicide. I am marginalized by both liberals and conservatives because of my eclectic world views, and I am angry about the proposed schoolbook revisions in Texas. I am upset because I can't find anyone who likes to travel.

I feel the need to take my anger out on:

1. Liberals who think I am a bigot.
2. Conservatives who think I am a potential rapist.
3. People who, rather than travel and be outdoors, would rather sit on the computer all day and whine and b***h about how the "bigoted conservatives" are keeping them down.

Here is a link regarding the textbook revisions:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_ts1253

So you decided to lump us into one category. Tim.

Why do you have issues with what women do in their lives?

I can see why friends would abandon you.

My view is simple. Someone who holds fairly conservative personal values, someone who is proper, not going to do something just because everyone else is doing it despite the fact that it's a little messed up, someone who is more mature than the average eighteen year old girl who is a college freshman, and they are quite a rarity.

As much as I've bashed eHarmony, it worked for my mom's girlfriend's daughter, who recently married an Indian doctor, so I might try it.

The word you're looking for is candor.

Well technically I'm not an aspie (I'll have to change that on my profile), I found out my official diagnosis is PDD-NOS, but this atypical-autistic will answer anyway. Asking my views on girls is very stupid, it's basically asking how I feel about men, or white people, or black people, or whoever. They are human just like anyone else and I see no real psychological difference between men and women, it's just a social construct psychologically speaking, it does have biological meaning though (obviously, that would be reproductive organs). But psychologically/socially, it means nothing at all. Why don't you think psychology has specialized psychology for men and women? Because there is no difference, the only people who blab about "gender psychology" are dating "gurus" who are trying to swindle you (or are genuine educated imbeciles) or common idiots promoting mythical stereotypes of the genders of which there are numerous and each stereotype conflicts with another stereotype.

A human is a human, gonads/sex/gender, religion, sexual/romantic preferences, ethnicity, nationality, skin colour, socio-economic status all make no difference. There are good people and there are bad people of all varieties and from all walks of life.

FreeSpirit2000 wrote:
and what do you prefer,

I'm single and available but not actively looking so I don't really give a rat's ass about dating, besides dating is a joke nowadays. I don't really care to explain my preferences over the net to a bunch of people I don't know, and because I don't really give a rip about dating I view my preferences as being irrelevant.

hale_bopp wrote:
I saw of it more as sticking the knife into aspie females as opposed to just all females.

Human beings are fond of putting knives in other peoples backs, it happens way to often, it's one of the reasons I don't like and trust humanity and society as a general rule of thumb, to many liars, backstabbers and self-servers.

Both men and women do this, and non-autistic ones at that.

Become less picky, no one is perfect, it's what's on the inside that really matters, and yes I do take that folk wisdom seriously.

So? You don't see me whining about the lack of death metal threads, taste is subjective and who cares if the majority of people don't share your tastes.

Yeah, it usually does, but why take it out on women? Especially when it's patently false.

Tim_Tex wrote:

Yeah, you and almost everyone here at WP, it's not really a startling revelation really, it's no reason to take your anger out on the innocent.

HopeGrows wrote:

How does one justify a rant that is morally and factually incorrect? What he said applies to both men and women, and non-autistic ones at that, it was a pile of crap, if it has sexism of either kind (misogyny or misandry) it's almost 100% certain that it's crap.

Be careful with your wording MsConstrue, it may come off as sounding sexist itself, I'm not implying your generalizing yourself, but just that your wording it "how much a guy will generalize" sounds a bit like a generalization about males in itself.

Or apologize, admit he was wrong and take responsibility like an adult, what ever happened to acting like an adult?
