We had been friends for several months before he decided he would like to have something further with me. We kinda talked about it sometimes while we were only friends but he said he didn't know if he was "able" to due to his ASD and OCD. So I come back from a holiday, and he tells me he'd like to try being with me (he says he felt empty while I was away). I think about it for a week or two and say yes. Things get very emotional fast. In the end he delivered a paper thin excuse to break up involving my one night stand from three years ago, as his ex GF finally got the money to fly to see him.
Oh wait, that's not a relationship success story

'cause even just a year ago, i'd never have imagined being in this kind of situation, being that i'm an aspie and typically not that great with people, and hence honestly had serious doubts at the time about ever finding anyone. So even now, i still occasionally get that giddy, dazed, dumbstruck feeling seeing where i am now.Lol you're young man, a girl who is talking about babies at 19 is also extremely inexperienced and also naive.
I'd tread carefully.....aspie women talking about babies is never a good sign they can't even take care of themselves..

I feel like it would be vaguely creepy to have some random person's hand there.
It's actually silver with an inscription inside and out. It's not really a typical engagement ring (though it's not really typical for males to wear them either), but it's meaningful, and he likes it, so that's what's important.

She's expressing natural, heartfelt desires. To scoff so condescendingly is rude and ugly behavior. 19 is not an unnatural age to have children.

. Like she she says ideally she wants to get married when we're 24. That's still 4 years away, so not even exactly a huge rush on that, let alone children.
and actually, by this time next month we'll both be 20.

In real life Melbi is cheerful too (sometimes a bit too hyper...), as long as the depressed/anxious side of her doesn't come out Melbi is on anti-depressant Pristiq and anti-psychotic Seroquel for severe anxiety control.
I love dolphins, they make me happy!! ! Love their smile and loving nature
