Modern Western sexuality

I'm a Christian and I believe in it as well. Another aspect of having sex only while married is because if you become pregnant, your husband will be less likely to leave you, and if he does, he owes you lots of money over the next 18 years.
That is such a horrible thing to say.
Christian ethics...

And I thought "shotgun weddings" were a thing of the past. I know a guy who was trapped that way about 10 years ago. He was in a f*ckbuddy relationship with a girl who promised she was on the pill and complained about hating condoms. After a few months of unprotected and uneventful sex, she surreptitiously went off the pill and intentionally got pregnant because she knew she could force him into a marriage he didn't want. Of course the marriage didn't last, and the poor child ended up with parents who can't stand the sight of each other and are constantly in court. [sarcasm]I can see how that's *so* much better than being f*ckbuddies.[/sarcasm]
I personally don't see a problem with casual sex. I'd prefer to be in a long-term loving relationship, and failing that my clear preference would be someone I've known for a long time and with whom I share other interests so that it's about more than just physical gratification. Failing either of those, though, I'll take advantage of whatever opportunities come along. The one thing I absolutely won't do under any circumstances is have anonymous sex. I have nothing against prostitutes or people who like "bath house" trysts, but the idea of having sex with someone I've known for 5 minutes is just creepy.

Ah Sexaulity. Makes rocket science look simple in comparison.
I don't persay have anything against casual sex, but it seems that having a real relationship is preferable.
Also, I'm not so sure that it is meaningless. There's something to be said for being with someone that you just completely lose control of yourself around and have really crazy sex with. (That's not what I wanted to say, I just can't without using a lot of four letter words)
Is a fling different then casual sex?
All of that seems to overlap.
Then again I'm speaking as someone who hasn't ever had sex, so anything I say should be taken with a grain of salt.
