It is important you actually put yourself out there, and meet women. Just remember though at the end of the day, for most guys out there, dating is a numbers game.

Yeah, that's kinda important to remember so you don't get too down.

Wow, aspergers DOES really suck. So, not matter how hard I try, I wll never be able to succefully have a relationship. No matter how much money, looks cars, and social skills I fake...aspergers is still there

1. Yes, Aspergers does indeed suck.
2. I am not a "40-year-old virgin", I have managed a few relationships over the years, including an awful marriage which turned out to be an immigration scam.

It's like the lottery, your chances aren't good, but you gotta play...

Also, I think it makes the "victories" (and there WILL be a few) even sweeter, that's got to count for something, right? We get to experience a first kiss that we will remember forever, NT Alphas just throw the used condom on the floor and think "next".

Good luck!!

1. AS blows.

2. Was the girl Russian by any chance? They've got ice in their veins.

Just remember that it is cheaper to rent than to buy. NT Alphas have to spend time and energy going out to get tail as well. It is more like a batting ratio to put things in persepctive. If you are succeeding 40% of the time, you are a Hall of Famer.

Yes, she was Russian. I could never believe that someone could be so devious, calculating, and patient - absolutely reptilian.

The older I get (and I am getting OLD!) the more I see the wisdom of the "numbers game" - when I think about how many "pitches" I make versus how many "hits" I get, 40% sounds about right.

I don't have the inclination to hit on every "date-able" woman I see though, but I can probably do better than my 1-2 per year right now.

As someone who enjoys escorts, I made it a rule to NEVER go for the russian ones. At least you don't have to pay alimony to her (I hope).

Marriage is only useful if you really want kids. Proceed with an ironclad prenup written by a very competent attorney and make sure there is a disparity in social status (she doesn't have much by way of economic prospects on her own) between the two of you to really jump start her hypergamous attraction. I've seen that work first hand.

Also it can be useful if you die without writing a will first.....seems that a spouse is automatically entitled to half your estate, but a non-spouse is not. Best to write that will of course.

The other thing about marriage is that you get to mark your property with a wedding ring, which might be of some use in warding off the competition, though given the prevalence of adultery (~50%?), its value for that purpose is probably limited. Still, at least you get the right to divorce on the grounds of adultery, to name and shame co-respondents etc........it won't put the infidelity right but it must be kind of satisfying to use the law to definitively eject the cheat, and to bring their behaviour into the public gaze.

True of course, but here in California we have "no fault" divorce - my solution was to inform my (now) ex-wife's married boyfriend's wife about their activities  It worked wonders: he disappeared off the face of the Earth immediately and hasn't been seen by me, or my ex-wife AFAIK, since...

Next best thing to public ridicule, maybe even better!

Assuming there were no kids involved, I can't see much wrong with that, and under the circumstances, it would have been silly to expect anything "better." Sometimes it's dangerous to spill the beans because it seems that some people don't want the truth, but I think in the long run it's usually the kindest thing to tell them they're being conned. Was the lady grateful for the intelligence report?

I have no idea - never heard from her, I found out from my ex-wife that she threw him out of the house and that he had "broken up" with her (my ex-wife).

I have visions of rolling pins hitting skulls though...

It would be an interesting experiment for you to sign up with a dating site and lie about your job. If you still didn't get anybody, you'd know it wasn't the money. If you did get tons of interest, you could reveal the truth and ask them if money was really that important to them.....

Anybody worried about not having enough money or job kudos for a relationship would do well to go down-market....I think there are plenty of poverty-stricken ladies around who would settle for a toilet cleaner. It's all relative.

Already tried doing that on the lightrail.

Went around and said I was a future doctor and women were all over me.

Did you eventually tell them the truth, or just vanish from their lives? And I wonder if there would be a "turnover point" as they got to know you, when they'd have learned to like you for yourself enough to make the money thing less of an issue? Or would that be entrapment?

Another experiment I'd like to try would be like yours but then telling the ladies that you'd decided to cop out because you weren't satisfied with their financial prospects as working wives. Though something makes me think that they wouldn't change their attitude even after finding out exactly how rejection-by-wallet feels.

I suppose money has replaced muscles for most people these days. Cave-girls probably needed a muscular partner for protection against the physically brutal environment while the reproduction process was going on. Modern gentlemen protect with their wallets, and it might take a while for the world to wake up to the ongoing equalisation of male and female salaries and wages. The DNA doesn't change quickly, and cultural norms can have a lot of inertia. I gather there are still lots of lovely girls somewhere in the Caribbean who give themselves away as prizes to the best stick-fighter in town. It's horrific to think of the violence that causes between rival males, but in a way it seems more manly and natural than some overpaid banker having the pick of the box every time.
