Sure, sweetie.

That'll be possible the day you "stop" being hetero.

we've had some spirited arguments!

a lot of christians are like that, especially the more moderate ones. Not all of us are regressive fundamentalists, you know...

The religious difference thing works only if religion isn't a high priority for at least one of the two people involved, but if religion isn't a high priority on your list maybe you shouldn't bother having a religion at all. Frankly, I'd be more annoyed by Tim_Tex if I knew he was a Christian and he didn't care whether or not his (future?) girlfriend shares his religious beliefs as long as he's not lonely.

If a girl thought she was asexual until she met me, I'd be flattered on the face of it. That's all I read from "stop being asexual", nothing more.

What's the point of a girl who is asexual?

okay, now you are going too far. it is one thing when you promote that men seek sexual services. whatever, i'll argue against it but it isn't personal. it's quite another thing for you to state that a woman has no purpose except for sex. you're crossing over into being too insulting. please refrain from nastiness like that.

People exist to f**k and die. It's not just women.

he didn't say that.

and i doubt anyone thinks that their own purpose in life is to only have sex, or they would never do anything else besides that.

It's a matter of having become too sophisticated to fulfill a biological purpose. It's not that that's not what our functionality is based on.

A hammer's purpose might be to drive nails but it can also be used to smash aluminum cans if desired.

again, he didn't say that. although i'm certain he would appreciate you softening and explaining his words for him, they are still not his words.

he has implied this before, that women have no purpose except for sex, and it is a cruel perspective that has no place here. if i said "what's the point of a boy who is unemployed?" it would be equally nasty and i would expect that people would be offended.

So? It's not like people don't get offended all the time by the slightest implications anyways! For example, Stairway to Heaven. People INSISTED on coming up with lyrics for it being played in reverse "the one who's little path would make me sad my sweet satan". People just go looking for trouble because they have nothing better to do because they are capable of sustaining themselves with minimal time investments and still beat back whatever carnal urges they do have.

I would definitely prefer the partner already be a Christian with a high sex drive, but part of me worries that they may be in short supply, especially when I prefer a fellow Aspie.

This is why I said what I did.

People can't stop being asexual. If they are, just don't date them.

In other words, it's physiological, right? If so, I didn't know.

You can't stop being asexual in the same way you can't stop being straight.
