Good point Janissy. While I have been on and off with my girlfriend for 2 years now I don't consider myself too wrapped up in the whole relationship idea. All my male friends are even less committed to relationships than I am...with the exception of David who is uber weird about his relationships (he treats girls better than I do, stays with them longer and will throw them away or cheat on them as needed).

The only one I really could not stand would be number two (not counting the fact that I have no idea what number five is, and please don't tell me). I can cook, and a woman that could cook would be amazing. The knitting is kind of interesting, and to whoever said anything about only old spinsters knitting, it's actually starting to catch on for the younger set; I've known a few high school girls who had that hobby. And on the chick flicks, a few are quite hilarious (Princess Diaries being the best). I don't really mind sitting through stuff like that, especially when I can make fun of it (Last Song was the best for that; Miley Cyrus the Derpface... :D ).

1. Cooking - my husband loves it when I cook old fashioned home style food. I don't do it often, but I can do it well when I decide to. I also love it when men cook well. It's very sexy.

2. Gossiping - yeah, this is stupid. I really dislike gossip. This however, assumes the lady has friends. I don't have the prereq's here.

3. Knitting - They say a good way to break up with a bf is to knit something for him. I like knitting and used to really be into it. (I'm actually making a sweater I knitted, atm.) Who cares if a girl knits or not? I don't get this one. I wouldn't bother to knit for someone else except a baby. It's way too much work to make something someone may or may not like. And guys are just too big to knit for. Bleh. That s**t takes forever. Besides, knitting's almost like a stim - it's all about the sensation to me...soft tension, click, soft, click, etc. It's soothing and about nervous energy, to me.

4. Watching chick flicks - they repel me, too. I feel like they're condescending. My mind doesn't work the way those films imply.

5. The missionary position - Agreed, to an extent, but I think some guys are happy to get whatever they can.

I would figure there are more practical things to make than shirts, ie. comforters, matting for candles, etc.. I would see the trouble coming in if you handed a guy a shirt that looked like a comforter and you saw the panic in his eyes like "I can't offend her...I can't possibly wear this...I can't offend her...", if you happened to be a fashion designer and rather than knit you made him a shirt that other guys would even be complimenting him on - I think you'd be the ultimate keeper. Other than that though, yeah, body-doilies are as bad for a guy as they are for a dog, ie. don't do it.

A real man will love a woman who cooks and knits.

If a woman has a Phd in this or that then who cares?

A successful Alpha male wants to marry a woman who:

Isnt a total slut.
Knows how to cook and who wants to be a good mother to his children.

She doesn't have to be beautiful or successful or earn more money than he does.

He just wants a woman who will be a good and faithful wife.

1. Cooking - Men would much rather go out to dinner if they have the money, if they don't most know how to use a microwave and maybe an oven
2. Gossiping - This one is self explanatory
3. Knitting - Men don't want homemade sweaters for christmas and they'd rather just go to walmart and pick something out
4. Watching chick flicks - there's a reason they are called chick flicks, they are man repellent in video form
5. The missionary position - Boooring

I like chick-flicks & gossiping doesn't bother me; I like women who talk a lot. Knitting can be a good thing because I won't have to buy cloths. Cooking is a really good thing because I like eating & I cant cook at all.

Is this post meant to be sarcastic or something :?:

I consider myself a real man, and I'm not really interested in wives. Thanks though.

It's always nice to see how many self proclaimed "real men" think a good wife is a combination between a maid and a whore. It helps of course if she's not able to earn her own money so she can be kept like a slave.

Since I can cook and knit and I have a PhD and earn money an "unreal" men is probably a better option...
