Well the thing is most decent/ugly men have no clue about this, they usually think that attractive women don't want to date them. Also ugly women often date good looking men from what I've seen. And obviously you can't generalize. It's not like all ugly men date all beautiful women or the other way around.

and you could see those women? it was a call centre wasn't it? did you actually judge women over the phone without seeing them in person or interacting with them?

Is it? I mean if we're talking about a gold digger - someone who only uses her looks to get a rich husband? I would also doubt her intelligence to be honest - it looks to me like a sure way to f**k up your life...

I'm sorry if what I wrote comes across as judgemental hyper - I was really intrigued by this several times and never managed to figure it out. What I meant was the nowhere I ever lived did I encountered the attitude here "if you're a 6 at looks you have no chance with a hot woman" and such. Conventionally attractive and unattractive just mix either way - there's so much more about a person than their looks.

Hate to say it but he's right in this instance - you did put words in his mouth and read a lot into what he said. I think the big problem is, I've seen this time and time again - just in general across both sexes - it seems like certain things just can't be discussed honestly and have any expectation of accurate communication. Part of it is that we see so little of the actual person that we're talking to at the other end that we find it extremely easy to inject our own context between the lines. I'm not trying to pick on you but just making you aware of it because, you seem like you'd rather be.

the idea that gold-digging women must be computer illiterate... is a stereotype of a stereotype. a gold-digging woman who wants to get married and be a "kept woman" may enjoy being on the internet like any other human. wanting to be rich and surfing the net don't necessarily have to be mutually exclusive.

There is a difference between beautiful/pretty women and hot women. When I say hot women, I'm referring to Gisele, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie attention wh0re types...or the kind that was "the hot girl in school that everyone wanted." In which case I don't understand why most men would want them anyway unless they sought validation ("Oh someone like that wants me") or status (Being seen with such a woman.)

Then take for instance the actress that plays Beth in Adam. Women like her are pretty/beautiful but also have a realness to them. They aren't sex-symbols to the majority of shallow guys...and they also have a down-to-earth feature about them.

However, even Beth types would want a certain amount of physical attractiveness in a man probably. Even if he wasn't a "hunk" or an alpha male, she'd want someone she thinks is "cute" or above average looking...which Adam was, awkwardness aside.

There are a lot of guys on this forum that would rate a 0-4 on the 10 scale in looks to most women, and want a woman that's beautiful/pretty or hot. That can happen when the guy has superior social skills to make up for it...but below average and awkward is the kiss of death to most NT women, even unattractive NT women.

I'm not even blaming women at all or implying that women are shallow. Yeah, there are some shallow women and just want to be seen with the hottest guy so when she's out in public, other women will see her and be jealous (or so she thinks)...but those are a minority and usually have bad personalities in general.

The reason I stress that guys that are below average looking and Aspie should go for unattractive women is because it's realistic. Has nothing to do with the women. The same way most guys wouldn't date an obese woman with a crazy personality...that's the way NT women feel about ugly and awkward.

Most attractive women are REALLY hard to interact with. They feel entitled to an easy life where they don't have to work. Instead they seek a rich handsome fellow willing to let her spend his money. This really flows both ways. These women have once been agreeable young girls. They've turned into what they've turned into largely because the idiot men who worshiped the ground they walked on, and lied to them, and lavished them with perks and gifts just because she was pretty, and often used them, and despite their amazing looks ended up cheating on them with another woman. This changes a person after a while and they first become more stuck-up and later more jaded and cynical. It is sad when you think about it.

I guess what I want to say is, obviously this is an American site so most posters here are from The US but there are also posters from other countries where life might be completely different and where people behave differently so I wouldn't generalize to much and say all persons are the same.
I also want to mention that I'm not discriminating US girls or citizens in general, I'm not someone who discriminates people. It's just a feeling that I had, after all I don't live in the US so I don't know everything about people that live there, and I know that not all people in the US are the same.

I do not think you can make the judgement that most hot women in the US are skanks. I have heard that Europe is actually more sexually liberal than the US.
