No. It's good that he told her. I would want to know as soon as possible. It makes it easier to work with any challenges that may come up in the relationship.

The 40 years old virgin man has the worst stereotypical image in the media : A loser ,dumb ,bitter or a potential Sodini....the gay is the best image out of all of them. That alone would turn her off before even getting the chance to let her know you and fall for you. Very few would really understand your challenges without having a negative image about you.

Yes, in my days of mental illness, as I've stated before, I lived with a guy who killed someone later. scary s**t.

The difference is that I know I have the illnesses, and am under controlled treatment for them. That guy Sodini apparently wasn't treated from what I see.

You just have to be you, Frieslander. You felt the need to tell her. I completely understand wanting to have that disclosed. It does free yourself from some anxiety. You need a girl that will love you for you and appreciate your honesty.

FWIW... My brother is Schizoaffective. He found a woman and settled down. Honesty is what makes the relationship work.

I also owe you a PM. It's not because I'm not a fond friend. I just suck at returning PMs promptly. :lol:
