Um...I dunno.

I would think someone who prefers thinner women wouldn't necessarily change just because they got older,
nor would someone who prefers fatter ones change if he got thinner.

Athletic would likely be the first choice overall, skinny one of the last, just above obese.

Everyone knows what athletic is, Joey Ramone (RIP :( ) was a good example of skinny...

I am also a fan of skinny guys or overweight guys (not obese just cuddly) and I hate athletic guys. I prefer my men to be real and not into going to the gym for 4hours a day. Although a natural athletic figure is ok (the guy who walks lots, or cycles to work, or plays soccer on the weekend). My exhusband/ current boyfriend is skinny.

So if she was perfect in every other way, except for the fact that she had a small frame, it would be a deal-breaker?

That's pretty shallow actually...

I supposed I could force feed her double cheeseburgers? ;)

I think I wouldn't be drawn to her in the first place to find out how perfect she might be. I don't care if its shallow to not like an anorexic girl. There are 10 guys in line behind me willing to date her, so she'll be just fine - assuming that the vomiting doesn't kill her first.

I don't have a physical type. I'm drawn to individuals, and more for what kind of person they are. I'll admit though that I met a guy who was extremely overweight, not just fat, and that would have been too much for me, as shallow and judgmental as that makes me feel.

What!?!?!

Are you saying the reason I perfer overweight women is because I'm overweight, and because of that I don't have enough confidence to go after thin women, because they are somehow better or more attractive than overweight women?

I am attracted to overweight women like most men are attractive to thin women. It's the same mechanism, the same neurons fire in my brain as those of most men, but mine respond to wide hips, or thunder thighs, or a big round booty instead of slender hips, toned legs, and a tiny, small rear. Going after overweight women because I am not confident in my appearance, since I'm not as "good looking" as a thin guy, that I can only get the "ugly" women, is simply not the case.

Granted, I have great anxiety when it comes to talking to women who I think are attractive. It looks like a lack of confidence, yes, but it's just anxiety. I'm confident in the person I am. I might not have the body of Brad Pitt, but I really don't think I'm repulsive either. I try to have a positive image of myself and I think people can see that. I think everyone should have a positive image of themselves.

As of this post, I was the only male who voted for overweight women. I think I'm the only Aspie on this forum who collected coffee, tea, and small bottles of laundry detergent and carried them around with me in a little basket everywhere I went when I was an adolescent. I guess I really am an oddball. I like being different though. :)

I'm overweight myself, but even if I were to lose weight and become skinny or very muscular, I'd still prefer overweight women. So that throws out the notion that some people tell me that because I'm overweight is the reason why I like overweight women.

Are you saying fat people can't have great confidence, or men with confidence don't date fat women?

I can't figure out which...

I think you read into my post a little too much. I wasn't saying either of those things. Just questioning how sure that guy is of his preference for overweight women. :)

Hm..I don't see why it'd change?
Do men start preferring fat women when they gain weight, for instance?

There are a lot of girls who are naturally very thin. Doesn't mean they have an eating disorder

Why don't you accuse overweight/obese people of having an eating disorder? Because that would be rude? Hmmmmm...

I'm sure there are, they're still in middle school though.

I like *women*, not little girls.

Grisha and I?

I can't speak for him, obviously, but I like him all right-
I don't like some of the things he says,
and I'd imagine he could say the same of me.

That's life, and it's certainly nothing personal on my part.
