Since when? I think it got harder. Expectations of maturity level increases and I don't feel or act my age, no matter how hard I may try to it just didn't work. So gave up on trying and that doesn't work either.

I think it's easier for guys over 40 because lots of women tend to go for older guys & the older women have fewer options sense there are fewer older guys to go around so they are more wiling to compromise & try to make things work smoothly sense they have fewer options

Or in some cases, the women may have all of a sudden had the vomit in back of throat response when they realised they are as old as the mother of the guy they are 'seeing'. But that might only happened if the mother points it out over a family dinner.
So the 40ish females start looking at the older guys more.

Personally, I think it's ridiculous things become far easier at some relatively arbitrary age. After a person's birthday, that person remains themselves for some reason.

I can imagine. Work seems to be fundamentally a social hierarchy with economic motivations, and so interacting with NTs who dominate the work force can be frustrating. Personally, I'm trying to short-circuit the typical social hierarchy by constructing my own, so I hopefully won't have to deal with that crap. I still interact with NTs, but not in a way where my employment is threatened (Either by stagnation, demotion or firing as decided by someone else.).

Speaking from experience, you are definitely on the right track.

It's easier said than done, but the benefits are enormous - not the least of which is the leverage to seek compensation for your skills at their true value rather than what some NT
manager decides to pay you...

For me it is not work that it is happening at. I am a 'mature' student studying in Wales, but I am from Canada, so I am also trying to learn the social interactions here. Which are different in many ways, yet similar.

Anyway, we kinda slipped away from dating. But it still has to do with general topic, I think anyway.
