That's nice; however, you've repeatedly demonstrated that you don't really understand what constitutes "alpha traits," natural selection, or primate behavior.

You refuse to cite any valid sources to support your claims, and you seem content to make baseless assertions piled on baseless assertions. If you don't grasp the difference between anecdotes and empirical evidence, I really can't help you. But I suspect you fall into the category of posters who, due to a complete lack supporting evidence and a desire for attention and popularity, aim to rile people by posting sensationalist opinions in lieu of reasoned argument.

Unfortunately, primates are one of my special interests and it exhausts me to have to explain them to dilettantes. Any attempt on my part to engage you in a debate would be self-defeating as that would imply that your claims are worthy of being debated in the first place. As it stands, your posts are about as worthy of adult discussion as would be a debate over the existence of the Tooth Fairy.

If you ever decide to move into the big leagues, give me a shout; until then, I'm going to be putting you on my ignore list on account of gross negligence towards basic facts pertaining to animal behavior and I really can't stand our society's willful ignorance and anti-intellectual stance any more.

Anyone wishing to discuss primates and how they ACTUALLY behave is welcomed to pm me, or look me up in another thread.

As I said in previous threads the terms alpha and beta were HIJACKED. Game sites do not tell you to urinate on females nor take rivals outside and headbutt each other with plastic antlers. There are a FEW things common to Game and the social interactions of primates (mostly body language but that's it). You seem to be projecting your understanding of monkeys onto human Game.
When I or anyone else talks about this topic says "alpha traits" we are talking about "traits that HUMAN females find sexually attractive in HUMAN males". Nothing else.

lilypadfad, I think you're sexist and you need to seek psychological help to not be sexist anymore. I think you are too biased to have a sensible discussion about this issue.

Roissy is well-known in this community for being incredibly sexist, misogynistic, and as someone who advocates the emotional abuse of women for the sole purpose of manipulating her into having sex with you. For him, "playing dirty" is routine -- he has no moral boundaries and nothing is "off-limits" in terms of his single-minded pursuit. Roissy may be a valid source for game, and if so, then he and his writings are the epitome of why it should be avoided at all costs.

I would have agreed - if he was the only valid source for game.......which he most certainly is not. I understand everyone's misgivings about game, but I for one have seen the benefits for normal guys (and socially awkward guys trying to make it in dating) learning game, and I do cringe a little when I see people generalizing something as broad as "game", almost as much as you guys do when lilypadfad makes his particular generalizations, albeit that his are more controversial.

I'm a male chauvinist or sexist yeah, I do believe men are generally more capable at a large number of tasks, not just the physical ones. That does not mean I believe that there are no women capable of any given task. Everyone should have the chance to prove themselves. For example I'm not opposed to women joining the Military, but I am opposed to the lowering of physical standards just to let them in. If they want to join, they should work hard and rise to the same standard as everyone else.

Even if I wanted to "cure" myself (of rational thought?), I do not believe therapists offer that service.

I read his blog sometimes, it is easy to view him in such a negative light, he doesn't strike me as a benchmark of masculinity, but his own personal knowledge on how people work in general is not to be scoffed at IMO, as he has talked about things that I have personally seen with my own two eyes.

Agreed, although there's not much left for me to learn, I still read his posts for the very dark humour. I don't know if anyone else sees it, but every now and again I see a little dash of remorse in his writing, mourning for more conservative times. Perhaps it's just me.

Okay, so he appears to be a conservative christian marriage fetishist and anti-feminist who links to Roissy and suggests using PUA to enhance your marriage. If his wife isnt suffering from Stockholm syndrome by now, it's a miracle.

He also seems to be against casual relationships for anyone, so that you follow him is puzzling.

I think it's further evidence that you are conflicted and don't know quite what you want other than to be angry with women. For example your thread about rape rates being exaggerated over in PPR. It's just a constant stream of this stuff.
