I just meant you're never going to change his opinion, it's such a waste of your time.
I'm not sure why I found it funny. I'm a weirdo.

Of course I understand that it is impossible to change his opinion - I'm not trying to - I was just pointing out that if fantasizing about women in other countries gives him hope - then he should do it, because hope is all you really need...

Is there anything wrong with a girl that might be even a little desperate? Personally, I'd be kind of flattered if someone asked me. I'd just say ok and and see where it goes. May find out that she's nothing more than a geek, so guys don't find her desirable. But geek girls ARE desirable to me. =P

Just post a reply of your reaction to one of this PUA threads that seem to be so common right now and you will be called on your bs in no time.

Why is it a sign of desperation if a woman approaches a man though? Sometimes I wonder what century we're living in.

(Not meaning to attack you in any way, just find it odd that this would be a sign of desperation.)

I don't think it's common in my area.

Or maybe I am saying this because I was never approached or witnessed it.

However, I witnessed a lot of girls doing the 'first sign' with guys they dated later. So probably they do somehow, but in their subtle ways.

It's always been that the guy makes the first contact or rather makes the first move as far as dating. But do any girls actually do this? I mean, maybe I can find a friend if they start talking, but unless even that happens I don't think I can bring it to that level on first meeting.

This rather aged "girl" did so, even when it was highly unfashionable to do so.

Frankly, in a way it was a good test for any prospective dates. If they had a problem with a "girl" approaching a man, we were not likely to hit it off anyway. I was not too interested in spending a life merely barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, fetching pipe and slippers for my dear husband when he returns from work, and making coffee for anyone with at work that just to happened to be equipped with attached bat and balls for those emergency baseball games.

Ah yes the Good Old Days.

So yeah, we're out there.

If males always make the first move why has nature equipped most males with bright colours and showy rituals while females have dull plummage and markings

Females generally always do the choosing

Everyone knows it's pointless to argue with you, so let's just grant your point just for sake of argument: Why don't you try to be more "choose-able" then? That's what I try to do - the fact that I'm completely unsuccessful at it is irrelevent because it gives me hope...

I've given up completely on women (or American women...at least). I'm just here to tell other men they need to do the same thing, and to call women on their bs.

No one loves a quitter its a shame you have given up on them I couldnt live in a world with out.

women I mean sure I sleep with guys too but their not as fun or sweet as women.

I feel sorry you my dude.

Are we gorillas or bonobos?

Car fetish-will she like me if I buy this car?
Will she like me if I speak this way?
Will she like me if I walk like this?
Will she like me if I have this much money?
Will she like me if I sing and play my guitar like this?
Will she like me if I put a canoe in my pocket?
Will she like me if I make funny comments online?
Will she like me if I make myself look strong by bullying the weak?
Will she like me if I tell her she is beautiful?
Will she let me mate with here if I beat up all the other males?

Or will she sneak off to the edge of the herd and get some hot carpet licking action with another cow, because neurotic aggressive males always wanting to stick it in are an annoying evolutionary has been, long past its used by date? And destined for the scrap heap of time?

I see your point tho, yes...even female humans are the choosers after all.
