Then you must be gettting adware or something. I don't know. A screenshot would be helpful.

Funny thing is I dont even LIKE the site. It's like Aspie Affection with even less women lol. This whole thing is just frustrating.

I tried deleting my account after I saw how bogus it looked. I agree about this being frustrating. As I said before~ The idea of an autistic dating site is not really practical due to AS being more common with guys than women & women generally having an easier time getting dates due to the social roles; I'm NOT saying that autistic women have an easier time finding the rite partner but it tends to be easier for them to get dates compared to AS guys so AS women are less likely to feel a need to use a dating site than AS guys. Going by post I've sen in this section; there are a lot more guys actively looking & struggling to find a woman than women looking for a guy

There's another site that's just like aspergersdatingsite.com called autisticpersonals.com. I found it in a Google ad on this site. The graphics are very similar to the first one and a whois lookup yields the same registrant for each, so they must be related. I'm not sure if you were to put your profile on one if it would show up on the other. Probably not, but maybe. Then again, I'm not sure why they would have two sites targeting the same audience.

I tried AutisticPersonals a few years ago. They had very few members & a lot of the members they had were scammers.n I tried contacting their customer support to report them but their customer support was non existent.

Unfortunately a lot of scammers seem to infest Aspie dating sites hoping someone will fall into their trap. I had one contact me on AspieAffection when I was on there. Fortunately, unless if one is really gullible, they're usually pretty easy to spot.

One should definitely know who and who not to respond to on dating sites. I'm sure scammers are prevalent on mainstream NT sites as well.

I don't think you should enter any dating sites that promote romance for people with Asperger's. And don't pay a cent like I did. It's not worth it. Before anything gets worse, I have decided to cancel my account (but have had to contact the webhost).

Then don't. I give up. If you're too lazy to even take 10 seconds to log in, fine. But don't go telling people it's a scam when you haven't even bothered to look.

(P.S. If there are lots of women in your area, you're looking at the wrong site. There are *2* women in New York City. TWO!)

Is the Statue of Liberty one of the women? :P

I tried both site for three days, with a VPN and without a VPN, and I keep getting the same error message. I am in China, but I don't think that would make a difference (especially with a VPN)...
Le sigh...没办法! :help:

I know what some people are thinking about on-line dating. I thought I had made a big mistake. Now, I realise that is was false fear. People can find true love on-line. Unfortunately, I live in Australia and she lives in the USA. This is a miracle that I have been waiting 15 years for. I am a Christian and I believe in faith. I believe in the power of miracles. God (that's who I believe in) can break down any barriers and that includes geographical and bring two people who were meant to be together closer.

There was a time when I used to have a negative attitude toward on-line dating. I didn't go on-line to meet a girlfriend. I went on there to meet my future wife. To meet the right person in your life, you must have patience and even when you do meet this person, you must also remain sensitive to their past (both the good things and bad things that shaped their life).

Why am I saying these things after two months of absence on this site? Aspies can find true love. God can even use the Internet to do that.

Yes,I agree that Aspies can find true love as long as they have patience .I think one of the keys is to go about it the right way.It seems like you did .

I decided to start looking for love again and I figured I would give AspieAffection a go. I doubt I will get any responses especially since the male to female ratio is uneven many more guys than gals.I put my pic on the profile in case people are curious what i look like too. I think I look like an average joe.

Anyone else see this site pop up, is it for real? I'm afraid to register, it seems to good to be true. the main page looks pretty legit.

To find a site is legit or not, you can do some methods. You can check whois lookup for a domain name. Visit the site WhoisXY.com here you can check whois information for domain name. If the information is public and looks legit, you can note the email id, contact number of the domain name owner or administrative or technical department or else sale department. It will help you to contact them if you have any problem after using their services or buying their products. Then you can visit the site ScamAdviser.com check whether the site is trusted or not. If the result will "High Trust Rating. This Site Looks Safe To use." It is good site. Then you can visit Webutation.info here you can read users or customers reviews, ratings and feed backs about the site and their services. If they said good, you can start using the site.
