For me it's the attitude of others. That too many people (my own mother included) seem to think that my wellbeing doesn't matter as long as everybody else is doing well and that I should just accept being single/lonely/miserable whilst everyone else I know chases/enjoys happiness.

I love that whole "I'm alright, Jack, pull up the ladder" attitude which is so prevalent in both our countries..

and by love I mean it makes me taste bile.

getting on a rollercoaster or any 2 across seated ride and they yell
"single rider, we got a single rider here"
"is there any other single riders"

I hate when that happens........ :roll:

Ugh, if we dated, you'd still be riding that thing alone. {Yacks on all motion machines}

I have no problems going into a restaurant alone or anything, unlike some people. I love going places alone, except places where couples are expected de rigeur.

I'm the same way. Unless it's a bar. I get harassed in bars if I'm alone. :x

I dont know, I find things are more pleasant being single, I dont think there is a hardest thing for me, I find everything better alone (which is handy as 'its my lot in life' lol) .

The hardest part about being single is often being alone on weekends. Having someone to spend Fridays and Saturdays would make life seem a lot brighter. It would be nice to have a person that makes me smile a lot too. A good test score always helps but it doesn't compare to an actual person. Weekends have become a time for more studying and pointless internet surfing.

I'd be the first to admit that the spining ones give me a headache.

Hmm... I suppose its not having "that" person to come home to, who you can confide in, who will (hopefully) be sympathetic and who considers things important to your life important to theirs

But truthfully... I'm single now, and I haven't been this happy/content in many, many years

i'd just tell whoever appears headed for my side, that "i sometimes vomit on these rides." that would be an effective deterrent, me thinks. ;)

I don't know, I've got nothing to compare it to. So for now, random other people going "Why don't you have a girlfriend?" Or worse, people going "MAN YOU SHOULD LIKE TOTALLY HIT ON SOME CHICKS BRO!" But, besides the awkwardness of other people's comments and treatments of you, I don't find anything really "hard" about it. Matter of fact, it's exponentially easier than the work of courting a girl, which is why I still am single.

I just sit in the seat on the loading side and pull both bars down. The park employees don't want to unlock it and create more work for themselves....(only works if I can get in before they yell)

I don't do amusement parks usually, but I like the way you two think.
