lol let me kiss you.

Just saying. You cant exactly say theyre after something other than looks but the reason you dont get replies is because your pics arent good

and i don't think a Georges clooney look-like would be seen as unattractive if he was in my same poses.

i disagree. hence why the mathematicians at OKCupid were able to figure out how to assist people with their photos.

Is this not a generalization that all men are looks based? I simply believe that everything said about men applies to women. Thats the basis of equality no?

that's not all men, is it? or do you think it is? overall, men on average are more looks-based than women (this has been demonstrated by studies). that won't mean all of them, of course. to even suggest that would be ridiculous.

Boo, you're not getting the point. if you think all women are looks-based, then you would have gotten no responses when you removed your picture. you can't have it both ways.

fact is, women and men are not ALL one way, and your profile is more likely to cater to one preference or another. you chose to cater to women who are less looks-based.

Yeah yeah, that's why things often go downhill once they see my pictures. They 'puff!!' disappear or stop replying.

hyper, it's not like I 'v became successful once i removed the pic, but it just improved my first contact chances, nothing more.

And there's also the height issue, I can write pages about this and the girls' reactions toward my height, and height is a look-thing after all.

maybe try taking pictures according to the OKC specifications. that may be a good starting place if you want to make sure that people are seeing the best possible you.

i agree that you are fighting an uphill battle about height. some women and men care a lot about that. it's not universal, but your dating pool is definitely smaller. is your height indicated on your profile? if it is, then you can be certain that the people who message you don't care about it.

And what about us who have taken pics to OKC specs and have nothing. The quality of the pic doesnt matter if the object isnt something people want to see.

did you try changing your profile according to people's recommendations on here, for example... including your diagnosis on there?

if the profile doesn't work one way, it can't hurt to try it in another way.

And how many times you think we would keep trying this trial and error thing before getting sick of the whole matter? we're humans too after all.

Why yes i have, and not just on okc but on many other sites too. No change in results in any of them
