It never happens at the same time for everyone
there is no schedule of which your love life is supposed to follow

true love does exist? but believing it doesn't will make it harder for you to find it.
at the same time though you can't just go looking for it. It just happens and often times it hits you when your least prepared.

You are right there are people who use drugs and alcohol to try find love it happens. But thats not everyone who drinks or whatever. In fact there are people now who use online games to try and find love only to find out that much like the few who use drugs and alcohol their relationships are only held togather by thin fragile strings.

But true love does exist, and its not easy to find for anyone

Whatever genuine feelings of interconnection people experience is true love imo. "True love" is just a semantic hieroglyphic that's wholly subjective. The actual, life affirming experience people generally describe with that term, I think is very real though.

I don't think "true love" is restricted to love between the genders either. I think it can apply to love between a parent and a child, or love for humanity, or love and respect for yourself.
