Am I the only one who doesn't ever want to marry?

Angels do not marry.

I want to one day fall in love and get married, but I know it will never happen for me. I am not the sort of guy that women want and even if I was, I am never in a position to meet a compatible person. I don't like new social situations and can't help but come off as odd or standoffish, even when trying to be friendly.

Marriage is a trap. That is all.

I don't plan on ever getting married. I find it so shallow. And 50% of all married couples break up eventualy anyways. The whole tradition is useless. All it does is create bigger problems when things go wrong.

There is little reason to get married given that it usually ends in "'til she's bored do us part". Why risk losing everything in divorce court and have to pay alimony and all that crap?

What if you never want to marry and never want to have kids either?

Pretty much sums up me.

Been married 3 times and had 2 long term relationships. Ben there, done that.

Have learned to not do that which I do not do well. No law-enforcement, no mediation, no lecturing, no marriage.

I'd rather live the life of a man, than be married to a man.
