Don't you think that it might be better for you...

Thus, the connection between two aspies has the possibility of actually being stronger than an NT one if for no other reason than they will take the time to get to know each other intimately rather than fall into a superficial relationship based purely upon the emotions of the moment or sexual attraction.
I think you talk a lot of sense here. And it is backed up by my personal experience.
But when the falling out happens, hide the pots and pans

I refuse to date aspie men. Every single one I've met we're more low functioning than me and completely blind to other people's feelings. I know a woman who's husband is an aspie and like all the women I know who are in a couple with a male aspie, she is a very unhappy person. When she cries, all he says is: "there is water coming out of your eyes, but I don't know why"I'm very sensitive with depressive tendencies and being with someone so blind to my feelings would be the end of me.
An aspie man dating an aspie woman imo is like the blind leading the blind.

seriously and that never happens!
Her husband is Jerry Seinfeld
I'm sure it is very funny, but I must have missed that episode!
Even in real life with facial expressions and everyone else in the room peeing their trousers with extreme laughterous emotion, I am the last guy standing going: wtf is so funny about that? Don't take it personal.
I think someone mentioned the blind leading the blind. Says it all really.

There was nothing wrong with the question! The areas that are highlighted are areas I found to be problematic for me in relations with most nts. Here my thought on this is that a aspie girl might understand you better but any relation requires work and compromise. Also there are less women with aspergers and there for not enough to go around.
I was told I wasn't being supportive with the death of of my wife's father when I thought I was doing it well. A woman with aspergers would understand that holding her hand and giving hugs holding her till she went to sleep is being supportive even if you couldn't think of what to say. Or at lest I think they would understand it.
Well, if the areas you highlighted were the areas you found to be problematic in your relations with most nts then maybe I am not an Aspie after all. I don't know. I also got a second later diagnosis of PDD-NOS too.
I went out with an aspie 'girl' btw, a 'girl' that had three children, all very autistic, from pretty bad to pretty severe. This was before I was diagnosed or even knew what autism was. She used to say to me: You are one too, I know. And I was like wtf, maybe you are right, I know there's something not quite right in relationship to other humans. And at 45 years of age I should have ironed those differences out by now. Any way, like a typical woman, she was right (joke).
We didn't get on in the end, I think she was more Aspie than me. But I know that I will miss aspects of her personality that I would probably never get with an nt person.
Anyway, thanks for your input. It is all insightful for me.
Maybe you can understand me a bit better now that I took the time to explain myself.
Then again you might think me a bigger a*********!
All the best to you.
All relationships do indeed require work and compromise.
I've found relationships with NT's to require more work to the point where I do not enjoy the relationship (it's meant to be a labour of love, not a chore or a full time job :p ). I would never suggest people not go for NT's if they like them enough, though, or even like them a little bit. Go for it lol
some Aspies might have better luck with NT's all depends on the person.
