And where's the "too many coincidences" element in the (true)story? The girl is literally pursuing me, I told her where i was going so she went there to see (or watch) me and it happens that her family is a clan (whom they aren't few here), there's no coincidence in that.

Well since you find her attractive and she finds you attractive, I suggest you sort this 'complicated' business out first.

Well you know what the answer is. You are uncomfortable with her being connected in someway with the clan business. If you feel that your life is threatened then what is wrong in disconnecting contact with this person. Make it clear. You don't have to be afraid of creating the perception that you are not Man enough. This is what I'm picking up from this thread.

Traditionally they don't indulge women in the clan business, we're talking about super macho-tribal subcultures here, as their women are usually veiled from head to toe but this one wears the total opposite type of clothes (tight and exposed stuff..etc).

She claims her father was never involved in the typical clan business as he left the clan's hometown years ago and he made his wealth out of normal shipment business (yea, right).

I told her about my concerns and she claims that i am just being 'paranoid'.

her clan isn't mentioned there, but still f**k....they all live in the same area and share similar code of morality.

Is she someone that you would refer to being a liberated woman? If so, is her dad comfortable with having someone that be considered non-clan. Or do you feel this might be a recruitment into the business of her father? Perhaps dealing later with things that you might have to turn a blind eye.

She sounds so fascinating though. Is the thrill of hooking up with her the challenge?

She seems to be a bit distant/unaware of her extended family since she told me today that I did make her think about her clan's laws.

She asked her mother whether her clan (extended family) still holds such backward values (she literally called them backward) and her mom's answer was "Very much so, but your father isn't much like that anymore"

Well if her father is more accepting, then I can't see how you'd be thinking "Uh oh." unless you are concerned that other members of the clan will gun you down?
