I am not clever, and it looks like every girl wants a clever man.....i have aspergers but i am not one of the clever ones the only thing i have to offer is i am loyal trustworthy romantic and have a kind heart....if thats not enough for some women ..then i will always be single

There will always be somebody for whom you will be the most interesting person in the world. There is not only someone for you, there are multiple people out there for you.

Besides, we often end up falling in love with people outside our preferred types. The only guy I've dated was a Republican who admired Sarah Palin, but I was madly in love with him! (it didn't work out, but not because of the politics...)

progressive, feminist, politically minded, goofy, sexual without having porn-centric sexuality, actively anti-racist, fits in well with my family, is attractive to/has chemistry with me, is genuine, stims with me, lot's of things it's hard to put into words

there are a lot of things I didn't know I wanted (or that they were even available) until I got into my current relationship, if we break up it'll probably be a long time before I try again

I'll think about it and reply later, but in regards to the above, two out of three of those actually deter me, and depending what you meant by the third, it can deter me also.

The vast majority of men aren't rich, and yet the vast majority of men date and eventually marry.

There's a story of a three year old city kid that wondered why one has cows when one can just buy milk in the supermarket. Well.. the view of how things connect is biased by the environment you live within.

HA!

Not making pumpkin pie OR babies anytime soon, though I'm sure the former will precede the latter when they occur.

A few women where I live do date poor guys.....but they seem to have something against if you are working but are still poor (like me). Deadbeats who have no job or anything though, sure, that's fine to these women for some reason. :? Makes absolutely no sense.

Having a job that pays but having no money shows no responsibility, as well as showing that a guy is more than happy to spoil himself to the point of leaving no money aside to treat his GF or have a backup in terms of financial security.

A guy with no job and no money is a free spirit and comes across as someone who does not value money the same way (if they are confident). They come across as people that can still offer all the joys of a relationship without the financial security.

It all comes down to how responsible the guy is and if they're offering what they should be offering. A guy who earns money is expected to be financially secure. A guy who doesn't earn money is expected to offer emotional security.
