...and then he was gone....
Why not date?
You don't have to have sex. Just establish your boundaries. I think getting out and watching a movie or something would be healthy for you.

I don't know what his intentions are with me, though. He did flat-out state that he wanted to have sex with me, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wants a relationship. Again, it's possible he only pities me because of my current situation. Or perhaps he thinks having sex with him could help me get my mind off of John, in which case, his heart may be in the right place, but I don't know if having sex with someone else would be something I could do right now.
First of all. I am sorry about what happened with your Ex, Descartes. I'd say try and date this old flame, not just have sex, but date. Just try to find out what his intentions are. I hope for the best.

That's an awfully pessimistic way of looking at it. I won't deny the possibility, but I do doubt that's what his ultimate intention was with me.
Pessimistic it may be, but it's also realistic. I'm speaking from the perspective of a woman that had almost all gay male friends in college, and mainly neurotypical women now (fifteen years and two moves later). My best friend in college used to complain all the time about how men that are "practicing" with their sexuality with drop a former partner like a hot potato, despite being all over them an hour before. At the time, he was going through it with his brother's best friend. The neurotypical women have it happen consistently. My current best friend had sex with a guy a few times, and at first he said he wasn't wanting a relationship. Two weeks ago, he said he wanted to date her. He made it one event, texted her the next day, and she hasn't heard anything from him in over a week (in response to her texts).

Thanks for the anecdote.
I've actually had a guy become less interested in me because I was a virgin, but I suppose the thought processes vary from guy to guy. I think my ex was already interested in me before I told him I was a virgin, but I don't remember exactly when I told him.

Yes, I know I've made two topics on this very subject over the past month, but I still need help.
My boyfriend - my first boyfriend, the guy I lost my virginity to - defriended me on Facebook, apparently rejected my following request, and is currently not talking to me. He never told me that he wanted to break up. In fact, just a few hours before he defriended me, we were supposed to meet up at my house, and he was telling me how he couldn't wait to see me.
I've been depressed about this ever since, and have been trying to make sense of the situation. How could he do this to me? I've also been leaning heavily on close friends of mine. The fact that I have Asperger Syndrome, and am obsessive and get easily attached to people, makes this even more difficult to deal with.
I'm still hoping that he will eventually come around to talking to me. I can't think of a single thing I've done to make him want to do this. I can't imagine any reason he'd be angry with me. I just don't want things to end this way with him. He was very special to me. If we can't be together, I'd at least like to remain friends, or at least on good terms, with him.
By the way, I'm a gay male. If the mods feel the need to move this topic to the LGBT subforum, that would be fine.

He left you for someone else, and was a douche about it.
