Women usually put on more thought into weddings than men, so if I get married, chances are, she'd be the one with the best ideas  I sometimes have silly daydreams about that, and in general some sort of ceremony would be nice, involving vows and stuff, but the important thing is being with someone awesome I'd be willing to get married with. I still got plenty of time to think about it

If I do get married, I will likely stream it online, those on WP.net are more than welcome to watch.

Not really a believer that I will ever get married. I can't even get past the FWB stage let alone get into a relationship with someone and fall in love with them.

I actually toyed with the idea of black & orange colours and having 3DFX sponsor our wedding...
Image
the company was getting into the idea but it was bought out by nVidia before they could do anything beyond sending me a Voodoo5 video card. ;)

Besides, the wife said no. ;)

That said, her colour was just as bad - a candy purple/lavender-ish.

...but since it's all about the bride anyway, the bride gets what she wants.

12 past Never Lend....it doesn't exist! I hate the idea of marrying someone.

Only one super special woman could get me to even reconsider.

My dream wedding is a beach wedding. Hopefully I could make it come true in the future.

I want a rusty and dusty Texan chapel wedding, kinda like in Kill Bill except it won't be a rehearsal and it won't have a massacre at the end (hopefully).

Of course I live 10,000km away from Texas so I'll have to settle for a small little church in the nearby countryside.

I´d want an evening wedding, but it is - Lord knows why - unusual, thus not practised in my country, because no priest would be willing to work at night. At least in my country. We are (in)famously lazy, when it comes to working for an extra time.

However, if I COULD have an evening wedding, I would have it in a small church or chaple with a minimum of guests. At sunset. And then, after the ceremony would be over, we would go to our garden which would be illuminated with little multicolored Chinese lanterns that would hang from trees. There would be candles on the table and we would eat something crude that was eaten by peasants or in the middle-ages. Every guest would be given a small flower wreath or at least he usual myrth. We would be listening to some coutry, hippie or middle-age music & possibly having some real musicians there. We would dance some happy village dances until we would dance the f**k out of us. We would get drunk as skunks on a good black beer. And then we would go to bed. And we would have the wedding night the next day, as everybody does, because no one is a superhero  That´s all 8) Isn´t it nice?

Why not? At least TRY to believe that there is a girl waiting for you in the big world.

And remember the words of wisdom from Sheldon´s mother (The big bang theory): "I know you feel like you can´t find someone, but there´s a lock for every key. Back there in Texas, there was this girl at the Wallmart. Tall, TALL girl. The woman could hunt geese with a rake. Then one day, would you know, Harlem Globetrotters came to town! Long story short, today that woman travels the world with a semi-professional basketball player and two BEAUTIFUL mixed-race babies."

I'd be a bride in black. Preferably black leather. And I'd carry a sceptre or trident instead of a bouquet. I'd get the groom to choose the other colour.

I'd like to have an after-dark wedding, preferably on a full moon in a remote place where we can see the stars, but there's a law forbidding weddings to take place after dark in this country.

On the other hand, I quite like the idea of going to the registrar in secret and having a big flashy party to celebrate the marriage a short while later. Rather than the wedding itself being the big do.

In that case it would take place either in Kyoto during the cherry blossom festival in the spring or in Sapporo in the hoakaido region in the winter during snowfall. It would be a traditional Japanese wedding also the wedding shower would be marvelous lots of beer sake and japanese cuisine would be served there would be kareoke as well and when there is slow dancing music performed by Namie Amuro will be played I am thinking 4 seasons.

Our wedding was on the beach in our sandals during sunset. I'm not religious or one to conform to etiquette, so it was in a beautiful place with as short and sweet of a ceremony as possible. Weddings are nice, but it's the marriage that's important.
