I actually find shyness itself to be very attractive in men. There is something very mysterious and intriguing about it...sort of the opposite of the loud, brash jock or the smooth ladies' man, both of which are repugnant to me. I've been consistently attracted to socially awkward, shy men all my life and that is why I am currently in a relationship with a man on the spectrum.

The only downside is that because I like wallflowers I have to be especially proactive about finding them and making the first move, which is something that has not come easily to me.
So any tips for identifying women like you?
I actually have lots going for me, job-wise, career-wise, etc, but I think I am even more relationship challenged than some other aspies. It's like I have no personality and no emotions that I am able to express.
So I don't think it's just a matter of having other things going on, and being unemployed is not a deal breaker. So any suggestions?
