This is often overlooked! A lot of girls love Mister Testosterone who's willing to bully others to secure resources for her.

Some guys are unusually nice (in an uncomfortable way) with everyone. Would that be genuine niceness or fake? God knows.

I always wonder exactly who these mysterious women are. Certainly never anyone I've come across or known in my 31 years, and I have known or been exposed to a large cross section of society. And same goes for guys that are 'jerks' for the most part, except for maybe when I was in highschool. Do these theories apply to the adult world?

What they fail to see that jerkiness is not the key in the matter but it's the attractiveness.
Attractive and assertive jerks are successful with women (at least short terms) and Attractive and assertive nice guys ARE also successful with women even more than the latter. However, young guys notice the jerks because it's surprising for them how these mean guys get girls so they get that false idea that "girls love jerks".
