As I already told in another thread, external fitness doesnt matter for me that much (So my partner has quiet a belly. ^^), but I think it is important to share hobbies and free time together. So in summer I like to go out, driving bycyle, doing sports outside. Thing is, I only have time on weekends, and I really need it to counter my anxiety and depressions. If my partner could not do that with me from time to time, because of having absolutely no fitness, I would see him not very often.
So during week there is work and on the weekends one stays inside, the other goes outside... no time together.
So for me sharing happy time together in a partnership is a real important part.
So if I couldnt share any sport with my partner, it would absolutely suck, because we could never see each other.
So I dont care for a belly or some fat, as long as people still can do some sport, simply because I want to spend time with my partner, and I need sport.
From my opinion this is less about the external body looks, because I know a lot of slim people that cough when driving bicycle ten minutes, as there are lots of people with some body fat, that have a good amount of muscles beneath it, and that can do hiking easily all day.
So sure, having a partnership changes people a bit, so I do some sports no more because my partner wont do them (climbing - he has fear of heights) or changed some other things (so he is bored about hiking or cycling around without any target, so we do now geocash), but if I could do absolutely no sport with my partner, anyway what kind of sport, it would simply suck for me, because I was forced to sit around all time of the year when every cell of my body crying to go out and move, or have no partnership because of not seeing my partner. ![]()
I love to sweat and to feel a pump, I work out to the maximum extreme and I have seen great results over these past couple of months. I don't do any cardio, I don't think cardio is bad but I think if you work out with enough intensity, there's no need for cardio but that's just what works for me.
People have different fitness needs because they have different genetics, in the same way that different athletes require different methods of training. Some people are hardgainers and need 5000 calories to add 20 lbs of muscle mass and some people need to eat as less as 2000 calories and do 45 minutes of cardio a day.
Here's my trap development over 3 months from December to February, by summer they are going to look even more developed

There's nothing like seeing a girl with a good squat butt in the gym but that's just my personal preference, other people might have other preferences but I can't see myself with someone that chooses to live an unhealthy lifestyle.
Most of my dieting budget is spent on organic pasta, brown rice, lentils, fresh meats, vegetables and other health products.

That picture is just genetics, dude. Mesomorph girl vs ectomorph girl. Lots of girls got nice bottoms and have never seen a squat rack nor done much exercise in their lives. The other thing is muscle fiber dominance. Usually if someone has huge calves without working out (and huge legs usually, too) they're Type II muscle fiber dominant. Lastly, higher estrogen, more fat storage, so more curves. Gotta have bodyfat for the curves. Not to rain on the squat butt parade, but yes. Squats will make your glutes and legs look nicer, though.
^^^Absolutely! I work out but my butt has always been one of my biggest a$$ets! Since I was I was in high school and I didn't work out then.
