Lol, I wonder if this thread cured the OP of wanting to date an aspie.

Anyhow, for whatever it's worth, I've dated a few in the past and, most of the time, it tended to feel as if we were more different than we were alike. Although having common experiences with someone can be nice, sharing a diagnosis doesn't necessarily mean you'll get along or your personality, values, outlook on life, etc. will be the similar. There are a lot factors that go into feeling compatible with someone.
