I'm just saying there can be negative consequences to doing that. If he wants to have sex, he could drug a woman and rape her also. Now his reasons for not doing so would be that it would morally corrupting, and also he could face severe punishment. Now, having sex with an escort is less dangerous from a moral and legal perspective, but I think the question shouldn't just be "how do I have sex?" It's how do I have sex and live a happy life afterwards. I think both rape and having sex with an escort would obviously solve the initial problem, but it wouldn't lead to a happy life.

Rape is very, very different from having sex with a hooker. In fact, it's the exact opposite.

Also, the OP just asked how to get laid, he did not ask how to lead a happy life. Having sex with hookers doesn't usually make someone have psychological problems either. Sure, I guess it could if you felt guilty about it because it's illegal, but I can't see how it would make you have problems any other way. It also doesn't objectify women. In fact, rather than trying to convince a girl to have sex with you is more objectifying to her than asking her straight out if she would have sex with you for money. It doesn't turn her into some kind of 'sex object' it turns her into a merchant. She has something you want and you offer her money for it. She isn't the object, sex is. It's her body and her choice as to whether or not to have sex with you, money or no money. Her choice is based on factual objective monetary exchange rather than on subjective lust and feelings based on a persona or look that you have created to attract her.

While many people feel that sex should have some kind of emotional impact and meaning for both people involved, not everyone feels that way. Many people can easily have sex without any emotional involvement whatsoever and see it as a purely physical thing. I can easily do that, although I can just as easily become emotionally involved during or because of, sex. Maybe the OP is just looking to have sex and not have it become some kind of emotional event or be so psychologically vulnerable that his views on women are forever ruined because of sex with a hooker.

So you think that women in the sex industry are happy to be working there? I think if they had a choice they would not be prostitutes. It's usually the last resort for someone in a very desperate situation. A lot of women are forced into prostitution. The idea that is always a free exchange between two consenting individuals is very naive in my opinion.

Whether he is or isn't, since people brought up the possibility of having sex with a hooker, I think it is wise to let him know about the possible downside of doing so.

How do you know? Do you frequently hang out with people who do so? I used to hang out with many people who have, and they all have very twisted views of other people. They use people to get what they want, and not just hookers. They have very little conscience or empathy. Now, I'm not saying that all Johns are like this. But there is a danger. And I absolutely disagree with the idea that having sex with a prostitute does not objectify them. It objectifies their bodies. It disassociates the person's body with their emotions and feelings. They become a body to have sex with, not a person with a viewpoint to understand. That is the definition of objectification.

Don't get me wrong, I think prostitution should be legal. But the men I used to know who saw prostitutes weren't good people. And I don't think that's a coincidence.
